Not really because most Americans don't even follow track because it's not a favorite sport and Americans excel at many others (Basketball, Football, baseball, boxing, soccer, swimming, gymnastics are just examples) and still USA Track has won more medals in track than any other country. Also if you do want to talk about history, black American track stars like Jesse Owens paved the way for other black athletes around the world and Flo Jo still has fastest woman of all time status and Allyson Felix has most medals in track and managed to medal in last Olympics. Bring up those ladies records when you talk about Usain Bolt's record and how these track stars don't get the same recognition that track stars get in Jamaica or Kenya etc where track is basically the national sport.
Why do people always bring up the population of countries in these sports debates...China and India would be winning everything if it's all about population. If you're nice you're nice end of story. Jamaica had its run kenya having a long run no pun intended. But usa is a track nation too and we coming back for our crown it is what it is. It's not even a top 5 popular sport in the usa but we still dominate its just what we do
@@damepoe919 Always the low IQ 'China and India' rebuttal to the population debate. Genetics OBVIOUSLY play a role and Asians are not genetically gifted with sprint speed. You realize China totally dominates in other Olympic sports like table tennis and badminton...Why? cuz their genetic gift is more hand-eye coordination related. Ofcourse there will always be exceptions so please dont be extra dense and argue about that...Population, resources and history with the sport all play a BIG role.
@@Spanishtown34562 what are you talking about dude? Your using the past to cover you feelings of defeat? This is the most sore loser response I’ve ever heard and it’s actually embarrassing. U have a blessed day bro.

Only if 3 million people competed against 300+ million people. You’re reductive…
Nope……only 30 million Israelites among the 300 million try again…….we are 12% of the 300 million. You can do math right?
