I used to have a Black and Decker 1/2" Drill Motor just like yours. That thing was a beast and I relied on it for at least i5 years. It was a sad day when it finally gave up the ghost. Nice to see one still in action.
Thanks! I have a memory of Wexford from 2002, my future wife and I met up in Ireland for a holiday. Wexford was a waypoint between Dublin and Waterford. Unfortunately I don’t think we stopped through on the best day, it was cold, windy and overcast.
Is that piece you welded straight/level? It appears to have a bow from the camera angle. It could just be the vantage point we see it from. I like this build and have watched you tear down the RV and the Fire Truck to get to this point. Also, I was wondering will this have a flip nose to service the engine or just access from inside and underneath the truck.
I’m not going to say it was perfect but the various contact points are as close to straight and true as I can get using beat-up second hand material. There is no flipping in the forecast. Several others have wondered about this and it’s in the back of my mind but the priority is just to build a functioning vehicle. You’ve watched all 20 episodes? Sheesh, thanks…that’s over 10 hours. If I had T-shirts I’d send you one.
You do a fantastic job explaining what you are doing and why. I am very much enjoying seeing “things” come together. Thx for sharing
What you’re seeing is the way I work through problems. Not making plans means I’m free to just react. Thanks for watching!

It is a hand-me-down that I really didn’t want but it’s become my go-to drill now.
I've just found episode 3 or 4, and watched all the series... amazing work you have there !!! suscribed!
Thank you very much!. Allergies are really screwing with me but I hope to get back to work soon.
Great work well done will be a beaut when finished
All the way from Wexford Ireland

Looking slick.
New subscriber, digging your build.
Welcome! And thank you.
More like a Cab-Tortionist!
