Greetings, this video is very helpful and easy to understand but for some reason im struggling with invert part, when i click on command and ctr on new layer pen, curves doesen't show up so i can't invert
Great tutorial. I've used this method a few times and found it efficient. My only note is that a 1px feather might not be enough. I've gone in with a brush to feather the layer mask to ease the transition between the edges and shadows created by the new chin line.
it worked, thank you! The only thing why it was tricky for me was that I had a lot of straight lines right next to my chin area on the background. So that needed a bit extra care.
You either need to complete the path, or make sure the layer you want to select if highlighted in the layers panel, or perhaps your image layer is locked. Usually one of those things is the culprit.
I'm trying to do this tutorial but im so confused what i"m not doing right. I tried the "shift+command+i " button on my MAC but its not copying it :(((
Hi, I found that actually there is some missing part in this video. After u done the step at 1:24, click the "Paths" tab at right side of ur PS (if you dont hv "Paths" tab, u can go "Window" at ur PS and check the "Paths") click the "Work Path" now there is a blue line in ur image, then right click and select "Make Selection" " after that click "OK" and now u can continue the step the video teach.
You 100% can use liquify! And if that works for you best, you should do it. This is just another option that I think is generally easier for all levels of PS users since there are less settings and tools involved.
I see the process but whether it's due to the speed of the video or version of photoshop I have, I'm having trouble figuring this out. The layer process after pen tool selection is my main concern as the layers popping up after your instructions appear different than what you have.
Works great except that pulling chin up makes the shoulders, etc., comes up as well. I have seen another tutorial that shows a much smaller warp window. It is just situated over/around the neck. Nothing else is pulled. I left a couple of messages, but they have not been returned. any help is appreciated.
Can someone please help me. I get to the end. I get to free transform, warp, and grid, but it is at this point that the "bottom layer", that is suppose to nicely move up behind the "top layer", flips underside. So the top layer is the right away up, and bottom layer is underside down. What is happening?
Ciao questo video è molto interessante...so poco di photoshop ,mi è difficile seguire tutto..chiedo troppo se puoi scrivere passo passo questo tutorial. Sono Italiana.Ti ringrazio se puoi rispondermi. Ciao
Hello can u help me edit my only 1 wedding photo😭😭 we have double chin and i couldn’t print it because we look so fat.. i want to give it to my husband as our 15th yr wedding anniv.. thank u..
Wow, no. This is not the way to fix a double chin. I've been using Photoshop for 32 years, and there are several other ways. Your method distorts his neck and shoulders. Liquify, the stamp tool, even the patch tool would be better than warping the whole upper part of his shirt.
Googled this. This was the first result. Worked like a charm. Thank you!

I am having the same issue, did you ever figure it out?
invert also does not work for me. When i create a new layer based on a selection, I lose the ability to go back and invert that same selection.
Nah the invert doesn't work :/
Works for me. Thanks for the tutorial.

Is there a reason why I cannot invert the way you're showing me? I've tried 6x and the inversion layer does not populate :(
You have to press control while selecting the new image =)
doesn't work for me either, I followed him exactly, tried like 50 times :(
@@kymdarling4080 I tried it over and over and it would not do it for me either!
@@rurupyon5686 me too
@@taimakw You Have to Press and hold the control key. then clock the new Image!

Why not use the lequify?...

Thank you.

Super nice new technique! Warp…This is genius!

The problem with this method is that it bulk up the subject's traps. 😂
