Have you been to Moscow, or Russia before? Did you get a chance to walk in Red Square? Did it live up to your expectations? For me, no matter how many times I walk there its still amazing to think about all events that have taken place there. All the people who have walked on those same cobble stones.

Last time in 99 aching to go back.
Morozshenoy my favourite Russian word.. for ice cream!
I was told when I spoke Russian I had no foreign accent but then I'm a natural mimic.
It must be beautiful in the winter with the snow and overhead lights❤
@@catmhill it is. My first of several visits was in winter. I will be moving there very soon to be with my wife.
On my first visit to Russia just being in Red Square and feeling the history as you walked around was awe-inspiring. There is nothing to compare in Australia.

USA here ! My wife and I really love your videos . We would love to visit but getting too old to travel. Moscow is so beautiful ! The only thing they show on TV here is May Day Red Square with the military . We had no idea how beautiful Russia and Moscow are . Your people look super nice and friendly . Dress good, manners - darn good people for sure . Love that mall and love the flowers . THANK YOU RUSSELL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely beautiful city!
It really is! Every time i walk in the center of Moscow I see and discover new places and things I hadn't seen before.
There is a bright facade of Moscow, and there is a gray backyard. Like in any other city

Love the layout of the mall. Feels like you’re walking on the street rather than in an ordinary mall. The flowers, the architecture, everything is just so beautiful
The building, built in 1893 in the Russian style, is an architectural monument of federal significance and is federally owned.

I'll be in Moscow in a week. Excited 💃
I will be on Monday! If I survive +37 heat in Antalya, Turkey.
@kotyarazuchara8329 I hope you enjoy your trip here.
it really is a beautiful city. We have nothing in Australia that comes anywhere near close. Perth has a nice river but the architecture is nothing special.
Ahhh, The Swan River and our not so exciting south Perth foreshore. We don't call it WA....Wait Awhile for nothing. Change will happen, eventually.

There are some parks that Alex Christoforou visited a couple weeks ago that were among historic buildings, but it looked really peaceful and idyllic for such large city. I don't know what part of town they were in. The light there in summer is perfect. Not too bright and searing, just right.
I don't know this person. There are 100s of spots in Moscow with big and small parks to walk in and relax.

dear Russel, that’s a really amazing video, I‘ve been there, 4 years ago, and it’s time to come here again, thank you, have a nice day, greetings from Vienna😀
Beautiful flowers - nice welcome to a city.
Here in America, those flowers would last 1 day - maybe
they would be cut, and dozens of homeless guys would sell them on street corners.
And most of them would be illegal immigrants who snuck into our country by the wide open Southern border.
You folks in Russia don't have that problem?
We do but not to such an extend.
No one picks flowers here. I saw one homeless man 5 years ago. But they are selected by the services, documents are restored and they try to get a job with the dormitory.
@@noleftturns The problem in our country is not with poor and homeless, but with migrants from Asia.
@noleftturns Even in my small town the flowers are all still in the pots and beds they got put in over summer. No chance you would see someone removing them.

I will have to go in there at some point, I've literally never been inside.

I would Highly recommend it 🤝🇷🇺
I'm amazed at how clean it is there. I live in the country in the US. We have a beautiful piece of property. But driving home, especially during the winter, the sides of the road have so much trash. Our town is getting quite a few homeless and panhandlers. We have a really nice greenway in town to walk, now the homeless have a camp close and they bother people.
Are there rules for vagrants there?
We eat them.
I read that there are no longer any tramps left in Moscow. Homeless people are housed in a special shelter, where they live and work, whatever they can do. The amount for accommodation and food is deducted from their salary, the rest is credited to their bank card. If a person has relatives in another city, they buy him a train ticket there.

The Chinese visitors will come by millions in the coming years to see this European country.
Chinese regularly came to Russia, but they have absolutely different kind of tourism. So-called “red tourism” - they mainly visit places where Lenin/Stalin lived, worked, made revolution (so in former Leningrad city, where revolution started, even in regular shops everything is not in English, but in Chinese as priority tourists). Chinese are less interesting with anything else.
@@juliap.5375 that is indeed in the past, but there is indication for change of Chinese tourism from West to East Europ by the Chinees governmental influence. (BRICS-effect). The West will loose all we have had in the past, due to the belligerentia of the NATO.

How busy is that place when things are normal ? Also, are the restaurants there tourist traps or reasonably price food from around the world to accommodate the tourist ? Great video !!! Keep them coming !!!!
Of course there is such a thing. It's a business. In the center, stay away from inviting restaurants with nesting dolls, etc. It's elementary, there are a lot of restaurants and cafes, walk around and compare prices. It's not difficult.

Love Russian and it's people and Russell another great video now can you do a video inside of the state museum you just showed thanks from Greenwood In Ùsa
Nice place
Professor Russell you look perfect!
Don't see any homeless people there.😊
It's a rare sight if I even see one.
In Russia the climate is "anti-homeless". Without a home you will stay alive until mid-October. If you see a homeless person in Russia, then in fact he has a home, it's just that being homeless is his profession.
That’s not true. When came capitalism, back in 1990-2000s homeless were everywhere permanently, including crowds of homeless kids. Including during winter. After Putin returned back to state most of property in country (from 2004 to 2010; nowadays over 75% of economy in country in state property, exactly like in 1930s), people got work, got home, so homeless just gone.
❤❤❤
Thanks !

Only our country has banned the trade with Russia for 100 %. All other coutries have found the tiny gates to sustain theire cliëntservices. It’s a shame.
US denied for all Western countries to have trade with Russia. Tiny gates - they are temporary, US slowly find this gates and close (yep, but left for self). They also trying to force rest countries to do the same, but rest mainly resist. But we have good news, regards to this pressure year ago happened unbelievable event - Saudi Arabia withdraw from agreement by which sold oil only for US dollars. Year ago officially there are no anymore such thing as “petrodollar”. It is regards to which dollar became main currency in world, because everyone wanted dollars to buy oil (energy). From last year you can buy any volumes of oil for almost any currency in world. Countries got significant freedom from US. While US tried to close tiny gates in Russia, they accidentally demolished own fundament :)
