Hi Bart. Hope you and Cindy are doing well.Tony and I are on a chartered 59’ catamaran with our good friend who is our captain. He was wondering how long it took you to get your captain’s license. We are enjoying the BVI and are currently at Leverick Bay on Virgin Gorda.
The class is stardardized thru the Coast Guard. It was a 6 day course. Of course though there are a lot of other regulations such as Sea Time, getting a TWIX Card, CPR Certified etc. He can find details on UA-cam. Now you guys need to come join us aboard sometime!
Thanks Bart. I will let Mike know. When you’re back in the Caribbean let us know. I wasn’t sure I could handle being on a boat for 10 days, but I’ve had a blast so far. We are going to the Baths today provided we can avoid the large cruise ship nearby. Almost everyone went snorkeling yesterday, but the water was a bit rough for me. Love your videos. Glad you and Cindy are able to experience this.
@@RachelFarris-p5m That Awesome your enjoying the Sailing Life. We won't be in the Caribbean for at least another 5 years. But you can come to Tonga in August and Snorkel with the Humpback Whales. Or try Fiji in the Fall.
Thanks. We went to the Baths yesterday and are going to Nekar Island today. I no longer enjoy long plane flights, so will probably have to wait until you get closer. Do you plan to do the Mediterranean?
