One of my fav adventure card games! The last kickstarter just fulfilled and now has full campaign rules with deck crafting and upgrades. I love that even now they keep supporting this game with expansions.
@@MeetMeAtTheTable In this October or November the next Gamefound campaign starts - with the new edition of Aventuria :) So maybe you could take a look at this :)
Loved this play through, Colin! Would definitely love to see more of game! I did notice that the dice you were using for Carolan and Mirabel were countdown d20’s meaning that the 20 is next to the 19 which is next to the 18 and so fort, whereas d20’s that are in other RPG’s, like D&D, are more balanced. If you look at the 20, the 1 is on the other side and the 19 is right next to the one. It just spreads out the high and low numbers on the die so that it’s more random. Not sure it would have affected anything but thought you might like to know.
@@MeetMeAtTheTable Well caught and I can corroborate this fact. In the Spin Down Dice (mostly used as life counters) the weight on the side of 1 digit numbers is a bit higher (center of gravity is shifted towards the 1) so the probability favours the roll of higher numbers ^^
I will always take more playthrough of this game, so yes i do wanna see a part 2. This is a game for me that helps a bit with my old MTG itch in a solo way and 2 newest expansion just takes it to another level with better leveling and better story, so it gets closer to that TTRPG feeling too (saving silvana from core game is best example, goes from 3 check and 1 combat on 2 pages to a small branching story with 31 points and 1 combat on 8 pages)
Hey Look!! it’s the game I’ve had for years yet never played ☹️ 😂. And I’m pretty sure I bought it after your initial playthrough. Our “friendship” has come full circle
Thank you so much Colin for this fun and for me nostalgic playthrough :) So amazing to reexperience this story that I played at the very beginning of my RPG journey (1985). It seems to translate really well into an adventure card game. :D The RPG System (equivalent to "The Dark Eye") is still quite popular in my gaming groups and sees occasional play. It will have its 40th anniversary this year ^^ Never knew about this card game though and was quite surprised to stumble across it here :D.
That is so dang cool!!! So glad you shared that and yes I know if the rpg, the duel and adventure mode of this game is quite enjoyable! Thanks so much for watching!!
@@MeetMeAtTheTable Thank you! I'll be checking what is out yet and maybe get a box or two just for nostalgias sake :D I knew it spawned quite a few computer games and the online game Drakensang ... but I am rather a fan of adventures in a box ^^ If I remember correctly the Black Boar continued with the Forest Of No Return and the Ship of Stone. All in a time when the marvels of phantasy RPGs were totally new to us. My favourite rather long campaign followed with the Tree Of Worlds which was amazing and showed us the possibilities. After that we were ready and played a lot of self made adventures during our student years sharing the GM task among us. The world and system evolved while we played and became huge. The current iteration is in its 5th edition. Wonder and hope they do something special for the 40th anniversary :D Have a great Day and looking forward to Part 2! Hope you are a bit luckier in your rolls ... it is the drawback of the single D20 systems that you can get so screwed when rolling badly :P Btw. In the 5th ED of the RPG every skill has 3 aspects and 3 dice are rolled for more mitigation. Botches are less frequent. I guess that would have made the card game rather clunky.
For the level 1 fight, you had TM draw the extra card but she failed the test. It wss C that passed. Time stamp around the 33 mark. I didnt see a klingon note.
Do I want to see a fireball in action? (Sorry, an ignis sphera. :) ) You bet I do! This is one of these games I am happy to watch you play as I wouldn't want to, ha ha. Are the click sounds when you roll an indication that you are trying to track if you are over lucky? Cheers!
The story is so goofy. Escape through a barrel to a secret tunnel under the inn that leads you to a super dangerous cavern, presumably under the town, with Neanderthals, giant spiders, kobolds, Lizardmen with dwarven slaves. It escalates quickly. Lol
I love Adventuria but i absolutely hated this adventure. I really disliked all the garbage gear that they give you but kept the encounters crazy difficult. 48:00 - Enemies who roll a crit success gain an extra action. Enemies who roll a crit fail lose all their remaining actions. So the enemy would have gone again.

I was so bummed I missed the last ks! I need to see if I can find it! Thanks for watching!!

I've never even heard of this!!! I just used random dice haha!! Thanks so much Steve and appreciate you watching!!

I need to use a different die then for sure!!
This is an old favorite of mine as well. Excited to see new content!
It's just so fun!! I wish I had gone in on the last ks!
Looking forward to the next part! Really enjoying the game so far!

Oh that's a cool idea!! Thank you so much for watching and all this awesome information!!
Colin, you and I are way too much alike. I was just about to start this as well. Love the content as usual. Keep up the great work.
Derrick!! I can't wait to watch you play! You doing the base game or one of the expansions?
Nice to this game get some more playthrough videos. Great game that is not well known.
Yeah im not sure why it's so fun!!
For the level 1 fight, you had TM draw the extra card but she failed the test. It wss C that passed. Time stamp around the 33 mark. I didnt see a klingon note.
Thanks I will make a note!! I don't know why I kept getting the 2 confused haha!!
Hell yes we wanna see more
Hehehe got you!!
Yes I like it a lot. I still have the expansions to play through.
If you have this one I'd recommend it!! It's great!!
Well I would like to see more lol
Thanks Beerman! Curious have you played the game before?
@@MeetMeAtTheTable Hadn't even heard of it. But it seems very cool
@beerman2000 oh cool!! Well thanks for watching!!
Hopefully you picked up the latest KS. There's some great stuff in there.
I didn't!! Know where I can get it? Probably need to look on the second hand market!

Haha!!! Yes!! I am not sure on the noise thinking maybe it's the dice??
You did get this?! I was on the edge, so close to getting it
I did! I am certainly enjoying it! Not sure you need it though but it's great!!

Haha!! Gotta love it!!
Ironically, most RPGs I play nowadays are "roll under", so I love 1's and hate 20s.
That's amazing!! Thanks so much for watching!!
I didn't want it to end 😢
Haha!! More to come for sure!!

Totally get it this one can be brutal! I just love how you get stronger as you go finding your own gear. Thanks for the note too I'll drop a subtitle!
