    Love this. Using Ancient Civilizations along with Story of the World for my 1st grader in the fall. I appreciated you showing the book your student has started making. I’ve been trying to find videos of completed one for my tired mommy brain to get ideas from. You should do another video with the finished product later on. Enjoy your channel. 😁

      I’ve really loved how this book turned out. I’ll try to get a quick video up to show the final product.

    These are super neat but I don't have a copier sadly so it would be a waste for us to buy it. Sadness but oh well. Thank you for sharing so we didn't waste our money.

      They may have a digital version so then you just print out what you need vs. copying the physical pages. Click on "reproducible/E-book" when you find the one you want.

    Do you think I could use a few of these over the course of a year as spines, and then add books, activities, and some writing projects as unit studies to make this a complete history curriculum?

      Absolutely! That is how i use them

      They are not Christian at all. They are aligned with the common core standards.

    For BJP book 1.I would need Plymouth and native Americans or could I get away with one or the other.

    • @FullPurposeAndHeart
      @FullPurposeAndHeart  5 років тому

      I would recommend doing just one. I mean, you could DO two for sure but, I did a Native American lapbook instead for that unit. It's totally a preference thing. Here is the lapbook that I did for the Native Americans: www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Native-American-Lapbook-4491152

    Do you do history every school day or do you break it up to once or twice a week?

    • @FullPurposeAndHeart
      @FullPurposeAndHeart  4 роки тому

      Hi Amber! We do break it up. Usually twice a week, back to back days so we can get the whole topic completed and not have a break in between.

    I was planning on using the Life in Plymouth and Native Americans as our first grade history studies. I will be adding in a bunch of picture books and other books from our library, along with some neat crafts and activities. Would you consider that adequate for our history this year?

    How many weeks do these history pockets take?

    • @FullPurposeAndHeart
      @FullPurposeAndHeart  4 роки тому +2

      They are very Versatile. Each portion could take 5-10 minutes. You could do the entire book in 1 day, or space them out over weeks.
