I’m suprised to see a vintage building here most of the buildings and homes in Arizona were either built in the late 80’s early 90’s or Early 2000’s, this is a cool building
What do you mean it's a traction elevator because I thought floors 6 or below is always a hydraulic in this over it was 4 and I thought it was 7 or higher floors was a traction
Any low-rise building can use a traction elevator system no matter if they are only two floors high, it just depends on the design itself. Hydraulic elevators can go as far as up to 10 to 14 floors high, like the Whiskey Blue in Downtown/Midtown Atlanta.
I live in Arizona too! The oldest elevator I've found was a Tucson Co. Elevator at U of A. I think that one is from the 1950s. Tucson is kind of a goldmine for Vintage Elevators. Phoenix is more of a goldmine for modern elevators. Btw, I subbed. Please sub back. It's cool to see another Arizona Enthusiast.
Awesome! I live in Tucson, which is really close. There are 2 Car Washes I want to film in the Green Valley Area. I hope to move to Phoenix eventually. Tucson is very nice and very pretty, but I'm drawn to Phoenix more because it's a bigger city and there is more to do.
You can really see the art deco on that thing, absolutely beautiful
