That Ibanez is an amazing guitar. That tremolo is getting a hammering!!!! Best use of a trem i have ever seen. Everytthing Pete does is perfectly planned and executed. Amazing.
When he plays alone,the sound is mono(like on Mandy homevideo),more difficult to understand,and there is no much sinchronicity between image and sound(7.15).However the cuts and the back music are in stereo,it doesn´t make sense.Anyway he remember and plays very well his own solos,not like others.He has all the virtues of a good guitarist:melody,feeling,technique,expression...the construction solos are perfect.He is one of the best musicians I heard
Never did care for Petrucci. Overrated. Too robotic. No swing at all. It’s all just music theory. No soul. Been playing guitar for over 40 years so I know a bit about it. In fact I could shred before it was even called shredding but still kept some soul and swing.

This one might actually be an older, discontinued model from a line called the Radius series(540R, 440R, etc). In fact, I've seen pictures of 1987 540R's that look just like the one Pete's playing in this video, the same switches, same dark blue finish. But you're definitely close because the JS series has been modeled after the 540R's! :-)
The Canadian Nuno B. Pete's a fantastic player and songwriter. Extremely underrated. Great video.
