The trans won't allot it to shift into 2nd as a safety feature. The HP85 trans is incredibly sensitive to needing a perfectly square setup on all four corners.
honestly its a gamble but its best if you can get a car with more miles that mainly gets driven on freeways/highways because they have less wear on parts than a car that has less miles but is a city car. Bought a scat 15k miles brakes were done meant previous owner drove the crap out of it, bought a different scat 31k miles but did more research and its way better condition because it was driven mainly on highway.
