    I tried it today! My mom was not home so I cooked chicken adobo, but as a 15 year old and a first timer, it tasted good!! I just added brown sugar so it would have a sweet/salty taste and I LOVE IT! Thank you!!

    Will the sauce taste acidic?i mean we put a vinegar,just curious

      It will have a tanginess but it's also balanced out by the soy sauce.

    One of the few recipes I’ve seen with no sugar. My Filo mum never put sugar in the adobo she made for us growing up so this is my fave iteration 💞

      What makes Adobo dish different from other Asians is the Vinegar.
      In Pampanga cooking, we add Oyster Sauce in addition to soy sauce. Manyaman!!
