Margot McKinnon began her career as a high school English teacher. Her most treasured memories are of helping struggling students. Her unconventional teaching methods lifted students to levels they could not imagine were possible. When her book The Exquisiteness of Being Human took off, she became a sought after inspirational speaker. She ran workshops and offered private sessions in the evening and on weekends to meet the demands. Soon after, the side hustle was destined to be the main hustle. Margot developed a Bold Vision. She decided to share her teaching methods with the world. Margot's first step in her Bold Vision was to complete a longtime ambition of earning a doctorate from the University of Oxford. Her thesis explored how to integrate the concept of spirituality into public education. Upon graduation and moving back to Canada, Margot wrote her second book: The Dominance Theory: A guide to elevating your 5 dimensions of self. We are all on a spectrum as to how developed or how healthy we are in each of our 5 dimensions. With The Dominance Theory, Margot helps people recognize which of the 5 dimensions dominate their personality and which ones have atrophied and become dormant.

When I was 6 years old, I can remember being in my bedroom looking outside and saying, " I want to go home." I was so confused because I was home, but a deep feeling within said, "No, your true home." I have never heard someone else say this till she did, my whole body went numb and there went the tears. My whole life I have felt like a stranger here. She's so right though, once I started working out and moving my body more, I would feel way more connected. Thank you for both of your work. And for all the beautiful spirits out there doing our best to make the world and ourselves a beautiful place.
in 2019 I found out I came from Andromeda, until then I was homesick, and I am now at home 14 years of deep rebirth with Kundalini and DNA :) seeing past lives after past lives knowing how I arrived here :) I wanted to go away from this planet year after year and I heard, it's not the time. now i love Mother Earth, and i want to live 1000 years, here :) i came here to work on golden age of consciousness with others like me :) finally we are going there :) i feel at home :)

I mean, if I had a voice to tell me what I'm supposed to do I'd be so, so happy. Sounds like an incredible handicap for life and its not fair.

OMG! I was mesmerized the entire hour! Also, over the entire hour I couldn’t shake the feeling that I know Dr Margot McKinnon from somewhere, but from where? The sense of familiarity is uncanny.
When she said the spirit dominant students stayed after class to talk to her I literally broke down in tears. Boy I wished I had a teacher like her when I was in school. I didn’t even understand that I didn’t want to be here or that I was longing to go home. I was just completely lost, confused, and didn’t understand what that hype of getting good education was all about?
It was years later that I’ve learned about empathy, than that I wasn’t from here, and finally realized that this deep sadness and sense of loss that would come over me every once in a while was homesickness.
It’s 2am and I am not going to be able to go to sleep. Tears are still rolling. Gonna have to take a walk.

This is truly astonishing. I didn't even watch this video fully, but your guest seems to propose a refined model of the psyche exactly at the time when I was thinking about it as well. I feel reconfirmed that the exploration of non-humanness or otherness in people may lead to a new understanding of the psyche..

At 4 and 5 I also saw spirit showing up at night around my bed watching me. I was told that I was going to be a woman's Liber and that I was not going to have children. I'm 60 years old and I have been a woman's lover, and I don't have kids. Although part of the bargain is I will be married. That is part of the agreement
