This low budget movie filmed in Thailand knocked off 'The Sound of Music' from the top spot of the box office. It was no fluke. They caught lightning in bottle. A new hero had arrived... something that cinema had never experienced before. The Legend. Words cannot describe him.
@@westyraviz Sound of Music had held the top spot at the box office since it was originally released. Same as Titanic holding the record for so long. It takes a great film to knock off the reigning champ. It was no coincidence that it was a Bruce Lee film. The guy was a superman who educated himself on success and hard work.
When I was a kid and even now this music gets me pumped ❤️🙏 I’d practice my style while listening to this intro, and while watching his movies 🙏 Now that I’m a grown man/martial artist I still feel the same, but now when I listen I tear up knowing he would be 82 today, and probably in EXCELLENT health ❤️ My blessings to his family 🙏
My favorite Bruce Lee movie. Saw this at my cousins place as a kid. My grandpa had a MASSIVE VHS collection with so many movies recorded. This was recorded on the same tape as Gremlins I believe. Good times. RIP Grandpa.
Awesome !!! Thanks for this !!! For some reason I thought this was The Fists Of Fury theme. For me this is the Bruce Lee music. It could have started or ended every Bruce Lee movie, like the James Bond theme. This is the best version, the horns and the beat hit the best here!! Thanks again!!
Wow! UA-cam is certainly a living, breathing time capsule to think you wrote your comment 11 years ago and it’s still get responses and thumbs ups years later.
We would watch as kids and play karate on each other .. but this beat always had our heads rocking !! Just watched the movie for the 1000 x on Tubi FIST OF FURY💪
When this movie came out they titled it "Fists of Fury". Then the next movie was titled "The Chinese Connection". Then when they talked about it Fists of Fury was referred to as "The Big Boss and Chinese Connection as Fists of Fury. Talk about total confusion, lol!!!
Sadly the dvd and steaming versions have another intro and a totally different score. This is the version I used to watch on TV in Mexico when I was a kid.
@@C00l5c0rpi0n think I was whistling it as a kid, and my brother said, "oh youre whistling Fists of Fury? Good movie." And I just went with it for decades.
There is no denying, Bruce Lee was THE first action hero in movie history. He may not have been the first muscle-man (that title goes to Steve Reeves) but Lee was the first to have all the awesome stunts.
Does anyone know of the infamous 'Saw scene" within the Big Boss? I have put up a video on that on here. It would be good to hear everyone's thoughts and opinions on that one!
@Peugeot107SE I agree with you mate - one of the best intros and in my opinion the best general soundtrack for all the Bruce Lee films. Just want to say though 'The Game of Death' Musical Intro is my 2nd best! even though Bruce was never in this world to actually hear it! I think he would have loved it :-)
GOLDEN HARVEST present: BRUCE LEE in THE BIG BOSS...Asi Comenzo el universo BRUCE LEE in the world con esta grandiosa partitura y caratula de "karate a muerte en Bangkok🤗🤔
The graphics are really poor and amateurish compared to the opening of a western movie, yet there is something about Bruce in that action pose and the incredible music that just makes it timeless.
So weird I remember this was called Fist of Fury and Fist Of Fury was The Chinese Connection as a kid growing up in 80s watching Bruce Lee movie s at the theater .
Had Bruce Lee had retired after Enter the Dragon and Game of Death. Then he certainly would have continued his acting career in America just as Jet Li had, his time with the film industry in Hong Kong was ending. Meaning if he had finished Game of Death right after Enter the Dragon, then he certainly would have been signing a big contract with Hollywood right after his contract with the Hong Kong film industry had ended.
Bruce Lee would have been 80 today. What a reception he would have got from the old and younger generations.
81 in November
I know he would be a roll model to the younger generation sadly he departed may he rest in peace and his son Brandon Lee
83 in november
This brings tears to my eyes so much emotion and impact this man had on me as a young boy. And still today
When I first seen this movie as a kid this music got me so excited felt like I could fight😂
Hell yeah!!!! After the movie we would go outside the parking lot and let the fist fly!!!!!!!
It reminds me of Black Ops Fire Sale theme
Hyping everyone up to dangerous levels
Bruce Lee inspired me to take martial arts as well as JCVD, Jackie Chan, Chuck Norris, and others.
@RiZzy I'm definitely aware of that. I saw videos on that.

VERY well said!!!!
How could this be? Sound of Music came out in 1965 and this movie came out in 1971.

@@alanchong7513 I don’t believe this to be accurate. Do your research again, as that’s not what the records show.

It gives you the sense of idea what kind of music Bruce Lee likes, hip, funk, rock and jazz music.

When I listened to this music for the first time, it completely blew my mind. What a great music of one of the best movies of lee.
This never gets old.
I know right and this was made in the 70s
god i love this intro song!like a chinese western.
It is not the original music that was used in the Hong Kong version. The music that its use for the West is by the German Peter Thomas.
1970 Chinese Western Corporate Gangsta Style.
@@juancarloscabreramenendez7628 Is the Hong Kong / Chinese soundtrack available to hear? I gotta look for it.

If BRUCE LEE was alive he would have surely got an Honorary Academy Award like Jackie Chan
This editing is inspiring
I think this is an updated version. Similar to the original, but a lot more going on
Used to watch this in the early 80s when I was 10 it brings back lots of memories!!!
Oh lord i love this movie....the music epic as always......loved it when i was young, the memories
It's stunning and absolutely perfect for this movie.
Those Horns sound like A Freight Train coming!
HERE COMES THE BIG BOSS!
CAN'T STOP THE BIG BOSS!
The legendary golden harvest logo 👌🏼 you knew it was gonna be a banger
It was tragic that Bruce Lee died young but at the same time we will always remember him STRONG and POWERFUL
Bruce Lee > Can still see it all his speed and power 😎
This song matched 'The Big Boss' perfectly.....EXPLOSIVE......just like Bruce Lee when he finally started fighting!
They could just move around the same picture of bruce lee and still looks badass
