Maybe you could make a "learing every character" series? Or just the ones you wanna. Like the process of getting to know a characters toolset, beginner combos, safe moves, what you look for when learning a character basically. It sounds like you will become really good at learning the game, rather than any one character, if that makes sense?
Playing multiple characters is the best thing in fighting games, you get to learn something from each one and its way more fun, the matchup knowledge is also a bit easier to learn, i main Law officially but i play multiple characters, have not completely learned all of them but i feel comfortable. Don’t stick to one character, be flexible, limitless, Be Water my Friend :)
this is relatable to me i got into competitive tekken since tekken 7 and from the get go i can't seems to find a main character sure i will play a character more than others but after i feel i play them enough i'll either switch or just keep playing even tho i don't considered them my main character best thing bout it is you can experience each characters' strength and weakness and maybe some of those characters can suit your playstyle more than your previous character/s while people and myself back then to some extend may think it's a character crisis now i just think of it as a fun spiral ofc if you think picking a main character is important and you are right too but while grinding one character to your best potential is fun, it's also fun for people to explore other characters, after all in a fighting game, the best selling point IS the character
I would love to see character variety. I subbed for yoshi because you tutorials really helped me. I am terrible with every other character and would love to see more of your tip/guides
You can play any character you want, they're all gonna be applicable. There's community in every character choice. Some insight: your most viewed vids are deep breakdowns of Yoshi. If you bring that format to another character you may find success there. Just my opinion!

It takes time to pivot and find the audience again - I personally do find Steve quite boring and subscribed for Yoshimitsu content so I know I haven't been clicking on Steve videos.
