Was loving how this project was looking through the updates, but I didn't notice the outlined before! They make it look so much more polished and the cutscenes are great! Another amazing job!
@@kaycee7738 Wind Waker is a pure, perfect representation of the heart of the entire Zelda franchise. Exploration and story. When it comes to exploration, it is beaten only by Breath of the Wild, and Breath of the Wild really drops off in story. When it comes to story, the only games that really even come close are probably Minish Cap and Ocarina of Time, and even then those two pale in comparison to Wind Waker's story. The only issue with Wind Waker is how empty some areas are, but those are pitfalls that even Breath of the Wild fall to. Ocarina of Time has a big world, but is very limited and empty.
I had a dream last night that I made a pokemon game in UE5 that was fully open world and had all regions in it and you could travel to each region either transportation system or by pokemon. The game had an open world RPG with a taste of survival-craft with a sprinkle of cozy game like Palia. I have never developed/programmed etc... a game or worked with any of the software so after watching your video, it almost seems like its a project out of my reach due to lack of experience
As a Gen 5 Stan we definitely know when the Unova remakes come it’s going to be like BdSp, so we will mourn with ya Sinnoh fans. Gamefreak only cares about gens 1-3 😭.
Because TPCI is filled with uninspired devs that are only in it for a paycheck. Have you seen the recent Pokemon Directs? The speaker literally has no passion whatsoever.
@@TeamNoSleepYT is it because of the developers or because of the higher ups? I’ve seen some reviews of ex member of the development group and they were dissatisfied because the couldn’t do shit because of the old ass higher ups
blueprint has shorter compile times, handy for prototyping smaller games and in general making things of smaller scopes, but at scale in larger projects you'll be better off with C++. Most indie games can definitely work just fine with only blueprint though

so rather than doing object references, you could just have a struct that holds all of the pokemon data and then create the pokemon when they actually get sent out, having too many characters loaded in one area just lags the game a lot with the current structure so it's not that you couldn't have a lot of pokemon coded this way more that you just have to be very restrictive with level design and trainer placement to accommodate because you can't load too many complicated objects at once

Quick question for anyone willing to answer, why would you use blueprint over C++, or vise versa, if you already know programming.
