Yes! I was hoping it would be a makeup collection you would have in a life without UA-cam....like I used to own only one foundation ,one eyeshadow trio, one blush, one concealer ,one brush to apply it all(or my fingers). I would never buy another foundation or blush until I completely ran out ..I used the same eyeshadow trio for 7yrs! Lol.....But now, I have an excessive collection that I just can't ever get through!! Haha
If I didn't start watching UA-cam videos I'd only be buying drugstore makeup. I always thought high end products were a rip off and were the same as drugstore products. I will say it's been over 10 years that I've been watching Beauty channels. Emily Noel and Tati were the first and I still watch them to this day!
I hear you about buying only makeup at Walmart, Target, CVS or at other regular stores. I did not hear about some of these makeup brands until I started checking in on UA-cam.
I would have a little bit of Clinique because that’s the first skin care and some Lancôme because that’s what my mom uses. In the past few years I’ve seen more girls around my age getting into higher end makeup brands so maybe by this point I would have been influenced by that, but before UA-cam I definitely only bought drugstore products and I just bought whatever I saw first because I didn’t know that some products were way better than others.
I love that you don't edit out little things like the ugh noise you made when you were putting the catrice eye primer applicator back in the container. Those things make you see more real. I don't like people who "youtube talk" (over-enunciating words and putting emphasis on words strangely). You talk like a normal person, and I appreciate that as well as your personality showing in your videos! I especially like when you get yourself so excited and have to take a breath and calm down. It always cracks me up. Thanks!
Sometimes I forget that the average makeup user doesn't subscribe to ten makeup channels and doesn't have very much stuff. While I was visiting family a while ago, my mom commented that I had "a lot" of makeup... I had with me one palette, a few shadow singles, maybe two lip products, and then the everyday essential stuff (foundation, mascara, brows, setting powder/spray). To her, that was a lot. I just smiled and nodded and didn't mention the rest of my collection sitting at home. :P When I first started getting into makeup, I remember seeing some Revlon lipsticks in the store and thinking *those* were expensive as I bought ones from e.l.f. and Wet N Wild. Hah! When I realized how much things cost at Sephora, I was horrified! Thank goodness for drugstore makeup that lets me buy pretty things without spending a buttload of money!
YES! I discovered lanolips on my dry skin journey years ago in high school - their non scented, colorless one is pure lanolin and it’s amazing!!!!!!!! So glad to see lanolips on youtube!!
I love Lanolips! I got one on a whim from Ulta one day bc I wanted something with lanolin for a lip balm. I actually mostly wear mine when I run or workout to prevent chapped lips (from mouth breathing 😅).
I used to only find info about products in magazines but always looked through catalogues from places like target, woolworths, kmart & some pharmacy chains & try things on special... something i still do. I also still love going into a shop & just checking out different products out there, looking at the top & bottom shelves to find hidden gems. There are still so many wonderful things to discover that way!
A UA-camr I love to watch called Robin's Cup of Tea does videos about revisiting her old favorites from previous videos and I think that would be a great idea for you! Like favorites for May 2016, do you like them now? I'd love to see that!!!!
And Robin's Cup of Tea did the "Smell Your Makeup" challenge and I think that would be a fun idea for you and Tyler to be on camera together.. plus I know you smell your makeup all the time!!!!
I just started watching UA-cam makeup videos, and until recently, I only bought makeup when I truly needed something; a product ran out, stopped working for me, I needed a new color, etc. I would go to the brands that have served me well over the last few decades, whether drugstore, boutique or high-end. UA-cam has been so helpful for me as I have really updated my collection with brands I'd never heard of! On a side note, I loved how you anguished over the Catrice product; whether it was UA-cam influenced or not. Great video!!
I was just at cvs and saw a lip gloss in their natural beauty aisle that I had never heard of. I legit said to myself I can’t buy this, I’ve never heard anything about it on UA-cam 😂 I bought it and it’s pretty nice!
I received the tinted Lanolips in a free Ulta bundle last summer and I LOVE it! At first I just chucked it in the drawer without giving it a second thought, but decided to try it one day and was like OH! I warm the tube in my hand a little - it helps make the application smoother. It’s one of the few tinted balms that actually moisturizes.
Cool idea! I don’t even remember what’s it’s like to buy something I haven’t seen a review on first and just blindly buying lol. If I didn’t watch UA-cam I would still use bare minerals original miners foundation (which i still use sometimes), covergirl blush, revlon or maybelline eyeshadow quad blended out with my fingers, and covergirl lash blast (which is still my all time favorite waterproof mascara lol). Sometimes I wish I didn’t start watching videos so my makeup bag was still that simple.
I’m fairly new to the UA-cam beauty community, but my collection has definitely grown since I started watching! 😂 My go-to’s before UA-cam were the physicians formula pressed powder, Maybelline eye quads in neutral colors, Maybelline falsies mascara and eos lip balm. That’s literally it. I’ve learned so much from UA-cam and from you!
Without UA-cam or Instagram etc , I bought makeup based on what I found at drugstores or Walmart. I learned from my mom and magazines or girls at school. I didn't know about makeup UA-cam until about 7 years ago and now am I am hooked.
Jessica, I have to give you a huge compliment! Yours are the only beauty-related videos I still watch on the regular, and it's because of two things: 1) you're an amazing person and 2) you have such creative and different video ideas and I love that! All the best from Germany:)
This video is such a great idea!! I appreciate how "scientific" you are when you approach videos like this. And that PF Foundation is magical, I've been using it every day and I love it so much. It looks so natural on my face.
I LOVE the Biore SPF!!! Discovered it last summer and it’s amazing! So light and practically unnoticeable! No slimy or sticky feeling at all. Absolutely love it!!!
You should do it the way I did. I'd love to watch it! I told you about it a while back. I applied all the makeup and called it How I Did My Makeup Before UA-cam (tag). I tag you lol ;) xx
Before YT I wore Mary Kay almost exclusively. The mineral powder foundation, their concealer. I spent $250 once on their skincare & brush set. It came with a big travel roll. That travel roll is awesome, it has 5 removable zip pouches & a hook so you can hang it. Even their brushes are great quality. I still use their crease brush, so fluffy & soft.
I love the Travel Roll-up Bag! It really has saved my butt when traveling. They changed their brush set this spring, but I actually really like the new brushes (especially the liquid foundation brush, which is way better than their old one IMO).
Jessica, the Lanolips is a product of a company called "Lano." They have a lot of other products besides the Lanolips, such as handcreams and soap. They are sold at Ulta, in the store and online. Check out some of their other products, especially the hand and body creams! Please keep being you. I love that you haven't changed in all of the important ways!
I love the Biore sunscreen. I've been wearing it for several months and I'm really impressed at the way makeup goes on over it and then stays perfectly the whole day.
I have only been in the UA-cam Beauty community for less than 2 years. It absolutely changed my makeup buying habits! I used to rely on magazines, friends, and my own exploration. Thanks for another great video!
I owned lots of crappy products before UA-cam. Clumpy nightmare mascaras, sticky lip glosses, chalky eyeshadow palettes, wrong shade of foundation (beside youtube taught me how to pick right shade), and greasy looking jumbo eyeshadow sticks. From the info thanks to UA-cam, I make better makeup decisions now on my own. I know which companies I can rely on to perform well. I usually watch a review for every product I buy. I don't like wasting money and having to deal with crappy products ever again. I am so glad I discovered the beauty community on UA-cam. This was a great video! It makes me really appreciate UA-camrs! You're awesome and give good, honest reviews.
This is such a great idea!! I recently started watching your channel and am so glad I found you thanks to another person I watch!!! Your videos are exactly what I’ve been looking for. Someone who’s honest but also brings different ideas about makeup and talks about products that maybe lots of other you-tubers don’t mention! Which is exactly what I want for my makeup instagram page i started a couple months ago. I love finding good products that no one talks about!!!
This was awesome idea. I’ve only cared to watch UA-cam 3 ..ish yrs so I remember things being set in the time of “u doing u” and I bet it was an awakening. In fact not being too influenced till this day and staying genuine to myself works much better I still find . Again, it’s always nice to hear a review and see what’s out there ( Sooo much ) before I go to purchase 👍😍
I love that soap & glory moisturizer too! You can't beat the price and quality, especially when it's on sale. If you haven't tried the oxygen night cream, you need to, it's amazing! 🙌🏼
Omg, Jessica! I tried your powder foundation application with a wet sponge trick and it is so beautiful. I've been using my bare minerals foundation this way and I love the coverage and finish. Thank you!
Before UA-cam I mainly bought only drugstore products. I branched out to high end because of QVC, I would watch Smashbox, Mally and Laura Gellar on there and had to try their products. Now when I buy stuff it's because your recommendation. You are the only UA-camr I trust to give honest reviews.
Great idea Jessica. I still find things and try them out without knowing things in advance. I started using MAC in high school because I worked at a Magic shop that had a HUGE theatrical makeup section and our manager at the time is a MUA for movies in Hollywood. She used MAC on herself and I saved money and bought some stuff. We used Ben Nye at the store and I learned a lot from her. I just discovered YT and I have bought too many products and I am really trying to stop letting that make me feel like I have to jump out and buy new, new, new all the time. I love that you do different types of videos. Thank you
I’m very much new to this whole section (and just found your videos yesterday) so I’m trying to learn as much as I can and really appreciate being able to hear multiple perspectives on products
I am super new to the UA-cam beauty world. I never wore make up until last year 😂. I just found it so intimidating. But then watching so many videos has helped find what is good for my skin and really eliminated my anxiety around buying makeup. Thank you for doing this video! I love your channel!
I LOVED this video! Often times when my coworkers ask about my makeup, or what they should by for their skin needs....I realize, very few of my likes/recommendations are organic and my own. Don't get me wrong...I adore UA-cam and what I have learned from your channel, as well as others. But as I'm applying makeup this morning.......not much was purchased out of my collection, that isn't UA-cam driven.
I love this video so much! I’m rather new to the beauty community (only the last two years or so) and it’s amazing the difference in my makeup between now and three years ago when I only had a single bag of makeup.. to be honest I can’t even totally recall how I did my makeup for my wedding, I knew so little about it then. Which is completely crazy, I know! But in addition to the ways you mentioned learning about products, I think Sephora/ulta employees would also be a source of information as they are able to make recommendations based on what you tell them you are looking for-
The vitamin wake up mist is my JAM!!!!!!! I have recommended it so much to everyone!!! I use mine right after washing my face in the AM. then I apply moisturizer. I love it. 😍
I just started watching you tube videos, and I have only ever bought drugstore I always thought go end was a rip off too like so many other people. I have to say I still do buy drug store but my new discovery with hi ends are the eye shadow palettes. I have EVERY drug store palette and most of them suck big time. I am loving the hi end dupe palettes, even though I do own a couple "real" ones but the quality is what I am so amazed at. I never knew how bad eye shadows were from the drugstore until I got my 1st real palette this past Christmas I got the jaclyn hill palette and I have been so loving all my new improved quality. I have so many look options now its amazing. I hated having to stick with the same things because there was not anything else. So watching you and others on here has really opened my makeup world and I appreciate it so much. I did not know that you could use products in Ulta or get samples from Sephora so that alone helps me figure out what I wanted and discovering Brands like makeup Revolution BH Cosmetics shop hush has allowed me to have a better quality makeup. So thank you
This video made me think of how UA-cam has had a huge influence on what I’ve bought. My makeup collection is about 95% what I have bought because of youtube influencers and I just started watching UA-cam about 2 years ago. That’s so mind boggling. My makeup consisted of makeup from Estée Lauder, Lancôme, and Clinique when they had their gift with purchase. I would purchase my face creams and would get makeup. You are one of my first you tubers and I still enjoy your videos so much. 💄
I've been using the Lanolips balms for years (tinted & also treatment ones). I reach for them all the time & have one in every handbag. I find the best way to apply is v sparingly, as they are pretty thick. Doing it this way, I haven't had a problem with that horrible inner lip issue. Emma x
I'm so glad UA-cam makeup reviews exists so I can figure out why photos made me look like a shiny round blog even when I had good MAC makeup! I liked a few items back in the day but I never really knew when I was doing it right because I think I'd never seen properly blended foundation or eyeshadow in real life.
Getting close to 500K. I predict you reach 1 million next year. You are so genuine, so honest and so engaging. Love this video and love your channel. Thank you for all you do.
There's a product that I really love that I saw in a magazine ad: L'Oreal's Hydra Genius moisturizers with hyaluronic acid. They come in two or 3 formulas. The "normal - oily" works really well on my oily-rosacea-sensitive skin. This is a holy grail for me, and I wish that it can be given some love here on YT. Best Wishes ~Anastacia in Cleveland
I LOVE the Vitamin C Wakeup Mist. I wish more people talked about the brand. Their makeup is mostly just okay, but their skincare is pretty bomb, especially for the price, I own quite a lot of their products. I've been mixing the Vitamin Wakeup Mist with the Mario Badescu Rose spray and it feels and smells fantastic. They're a really good pairing.
Before UA-cam my make-up stash fitted in a bag. It contained drugstore brands as Max Factor (still like the Facefinity foundation), Maybelline, L'ORÉAL, drugstores own labels, and that made me happy. Just bought something new as I was bored of what I had or finished it up. And now I want the real deal.... Addicted!
I picked up the Hard Candy Galactic Eyes pallet. I just loved the packaging and how the glitter looked. Not the greatest quality glitter shadows but they sure are fun to play with!
I know exactly where and what I would buy because I did it for years. I would buy my makeup at a counter. The brands? Easy! Borghese (mostly skincare), Estée Lauder, Lancôme, and Clinique. I was one of the younger cousins and they were very much into high end makeup. Drugstore? No way!! This was pretty fun, Jessica! Great job!
Oh my goodness. I have been watching beauty influencers for 3 years. Before UA-cam I would get the Revlon Photo Ready quints. The ones shaped like an eye. In Brown and Green eyes. I would get a Maybeline blush and a couple of single shadows and would of used those sponge applicators. I dare anyone to put a look together using those sponge applicators. LOL Hey Jessica this could be a fun video. xo
Moriganna Brown I've only been watching for a year and I was so the same. I only had the sponge applicators and I think I actually bought a cheap blush brush from the dollar store lol. My trios were the wet n wild ones! And covergirl foundation.
Emma Wallace IKR? hahaha! I had no clue how awful they were until I started using actual brushes and concealer. I wonder how it would be today? I mean makeup is as expensive in drug stores now as they are in Sephora. Just about anyhow and for poor quality. I am glad some review drug store product so I know what is good and not. I have wasted so much money before Jessica and Emily Noel that I honestly prefer good quality. LOL
Love the concept of this video :D My products, that I have today in my collection are: mac pro long wear concealer, urban decay blush in quickie, cover fx illuminating setting spray and the bare minerals invisible bronzer. I love them all and will consider repurchase when I run out of them.
Oh and you are so good at your reviews!! I love knowing I can hear your thoughts good or bad. I have bought some stuff because of you. Not because you're a seller but because you talk about why you like or don't like something thoroughly.
I bought that Ulta concealer because of you and it's incredible! I actually love pairing it with the tarte shadow concealer; I feel like it makes the shape tape much more hydrating while still maintaining coverage.
Before I stumbled upon the Beauty community on UA-cam I had 2 single Bourjois eyeshadows (one white, one black), one black pencil eyeliner, sponge applicators and some random mascara. I would do the same look everyday (black and white gradient), repurchase the exact same products and never go out of my confort zone. I didn't really have anybody to teach me or to show me that there was more to makeup than that. Now that I know more about makeup and that I have a few palettes, brushes etc... that were recommended by the awesome people in this community, I allow myself to have more fun with it. It feels less like a routine and more like taking some time for myself and giving myself some extra love. ^^
Before I got into the beauty community on UA-cam I only had drugstore makeup and it was only Covergirl and Revlon. I didn't particularly like dealing with makeup. Now I have a large variety of product. I have discovered what works well with my skin. And I know what the heck I'm doing when applying makeup. I also take better care of my skin.
Lanolips is the best! It contains lanolin which is extremely hydrating. Lanolin cream used to be huge in the 80's and Lanolips makes the best hand cream (the intense hand cream is the best!). Also try the Lanolips Rhubarb colour - its the best! Lanolin is made from the excess oil from sheeps wool
I remember applying my makeup like my mom did and using the same kind of products because that was all I knew. Then I found Michelle Phan on UA-cam and I swear her early videos (before she got so ad heavy) were so perfect! I still use some of those techniques even now
Honestly most of my makeup is recommended by UA-camrs because I never wore much makeup till my 30s! I do have to say my go to mascara which is from Clinique and waterproof due to my sensitive eyes I have never heard anyone talk about though and I have used for years.
About 6 months ago I was cleaning my bathroom linen closet and found my old makeup bag from about 13 years ago. With makeup inside of it. All of the makeup I owned at the time. It was eye opening to see how I lived so simply then. Now I have an IKEA Malm 5-drawer bursting with items. Makes me realize I want to find a happy medium!
My makeup collection was so crappy before UA-cam haha. These days I rarely buy anything and turn out to not like it because I know beforehand from UA-cam reviews if I'll like it. Now I've curated so I absolutely love everything in my makeup collection :) thanks Jessica!
I loved this video and hope that you make it a regular thing! I had eyed the Lanolips (Banana Balm) and the Speed Plump and hadn't really heard much about them so I gave them a pass. I'm going to pick them up now along with the Aqua Rich Essence. It's really great hearing about lesser known products and a breath of fresh air when you constantly hear the same products mentioned over and over. :)
Before UA-cam, We looked at and read magazines for all of this sort of stuff. I remember my mother getting me a subscription to Seventeen magazine when I was about 14 years old. And I remember reading through all the makeup tips and that's how I learned how to apply makeup and which ones to buy at the drugstore Etc. Fun thinking about it now.
Such a fun video idea! I loved watching it and seeing all of the items - I kind of played along seeing how many of these products I picked up because of youtube! I picked up the Ulta concealer on your recommendation a while back, and it's not my absolute favorite but I do find myself reaching for it a LOT!
I remember my mom buying me a mint green mousse eyeshadow from the drugstore to match my prom dress that year (bc it was the only mint eyeshadow available in the drugstore @ the time) AND I KEPT IT for it's sentimental value. I used it when I went to prom w/my Fiance` (now he's my husband). Even though the potted mousse eyeshadow is over 10 years old, it still has it's mousse texture & not dried out, doesn't smell funny or have anything growing in it. OBVIOUSLY I don't use it BUT I still hold on to it bc of the memories attached to it. I used to wear the cream foundation in the Blue Maybelline compact that came w/a application sponge thing. Surprisingly the exact same product is still available. ALSO, my fav mascara in high school was the Lash Stiletto. It had just been released @ that time & it was the only mascara I wore in high school. I thought it had been discontinued BUT to my surprise, It's still available in the drugstore. . Which makes me curious about if I should buy it again to try now that I'm older & know more about makeup. I'm curious to see if it's really as good as I thought it was 10yrs ago. (Probably not since I didn't know much about makeup & hadn't tried enough products yet to know what I like, what works for me & what looks good on me) I also just found an old lip gloss from 10-ish yrs ago hiding in an old makeup bag that I had forgotten about. It's a Maybelline clear squeeze tube lip gloss called "Fruit Jelly lip gloss" & I have the flavor/scent "Citrus Squirt". Idk exactly how old it is bit ik it's way past it's prime so I went be putting it on my lips. . But. . I enjoy doing SFX makeup so I'll just throw it in my SFX makeup kit as DROOL.
Hi Jess! Yesterday I was going through old photos of me before I use to watch UA-cam and I was wondering the same thing about what kind of products I use to wear. And your video helped me remember that I use to buy a lot of AVON and Mary Kay make up products. I haven’t bought a single product from them since UA-cam. Thanks jess for what you do!! PS: i bought that Dallas bush/bronzer and im loving it! Thanks for the recommendation! 😇
😆I’m such a disaster in the makeup aisle, which is why I watch you and other youtubers. I’m fairly new to the UA-cam beauty community (just under a year now) and have learned so much. So it was basically yesterday when I did this and let me tell you! Dry eyeliners, powdery barely there eyeshadows, crappy formula lipsticks (made that mistake just a few weekends ago), foundations with completely wrong formulas for my skin type. I could go on. All I can say is thank goodness for UA-cam and thank goodness for you Jessica! Watching you is like watching a good friend that knows her stuff and I’m lucky enough to take notes, learn some things and not waste my money at the check out.💖😚🙏🏽
I’ve only been watching UA-cam for maybe 8 months.. I’ve always either not worn makeup or use makeup that my mom passed along to me 😂 now I’m addicted to makeup and LOVE watching UA-cam beauty videos
i purchased the elf flawless finish foundation on a whim and a few weeks later i watched one of your videos and you were raving about it!!!! it’s been my fav for about a year now :-)
Omg the maybeline singles, I used to be all about those and the L’Oréal infallible shadows. Between that and a couple Mac shadows those are the eyeshadows I had before I started watching UA-cam.
I’d love to see more youtubers trying self made brands like beauty bakerie , who promote inclusive shade ranges and work to be eco friendly. Basically any brand that genuinely is out there to make a difference. I know we all love our big sophora brands but as a consumer based society where we spend our money matters. And what youtubers choose to review matters.
I have been watching UA-cam for 2 years (so fairly new), and I didn’t even know about Ulta or Sephora before then. When I was younger I would go to department stores and drool over expensive makeup and then usually find something similar at the drug store. Fun memories. Thanks Jess!
I have terribly dry skin. After watching countless UA-cam reviews and testing moisturizers only to have nothing work, I walked into Sephora and picked out a moisturizer based solely on my gut instinct. It’s amazing!! Just goes to show that sometimes the only person you should listen to is YOU!
Loved this, great idea! Now do a follow up with, how much your collection would be realistically if you didn't do youtube. Like how many eye shadow palettes would you own. How many mascara's. Liners. Foundations.
Great idea for a video! I use a lot of IT Cosmetics products that I LOVE and I don't hear a lot of people talking about them. Although I think it was you that I remember mentioning IT Superhero mascara and that is my favorite mascara ever! Also, Josie Maran products - probably because I like shopping on QVC and they sell both of those brands on there.
I have literally no idea what I would have makeup wise if there was no UA-cam. I'm 24, and there was only a small time period where I actually was wearing makeup, before I discovered UA-cam. 😂 maybe a year or two where I was buying my own stuff, and I remember having terrible luck, probably just a sign of the makeup times about 10 years ago, and a sign of my miniscule budget, and no online buying ability since PayPal wasn't a thing, and my family didn't have credit cards. So many factors! But I know my makeup tastes got way better once I started watching youtubers, and learning about what to look for to find good makeup. At this point I barely ever buy anything I haven't watched a review for, and if I do it's almost always an impulse buy than I often regret lol. Great video idea for sure, makes you think about how much we trust creators opinions. ☺
Honestly I was am still very much a sucker for packaging... but before YT I would be more likely to try a product if I had seen a commercial on TV or a mag ad... But I guess it really came down to whichever packaging drew me in while in store and the product claims would seal the deal. This is a cool video. Definitely got me thinking!
What a great video idea! So fun. I find myself frequently looking at my collection, wondering if I would have bought certain things without the influence of youtube. Love you and your videos!
The soap and glory moisturiser is my current one! It’s really nice beneath foundation. I love this video concept, and thinking about my own collection I don’t have much makeup but a lot I do have is based on recommendations 🙈
Great video jess! It's fun to think about what we would do without UA-cam since its so huge right now. This idea made me think of a question I have for you, if you were to quit UA-cam tomorrow or something, would you still keep your entire makeup collection or condense it?? If you did declutter it, would the products be the same as the ones in that video you just did about your collection being destroyed? I know you say you only keep some products because this is your job so I was just wondering what products you think you'd keep if you weren't a UA-camr anymore.
I would love to see a video of you talking about what makeup you still love that you loved before you had a UA-cam channel!
Love this idea too
Yess great idea!
That would be awesome video!!
Luanne Santos same here! Love Emily
I'd probably own mainly MAC and drugstore. I used to wear mostly MAC like 8-10 years ago; now, the only MAC products I own are a lipstick and Fix+.
Has Tati been 10 years on youtube? I don't think so... I believe 7 or 8 years (correct me if I'm wrong).
When I first started getting into makeup, I remember seeing some Revlon lipsticks in the store and thinking *those* were expensive as I bought ones from e.l.f. and Wet N Wild. Hah! When I realized how much things cost at Sephora, I was horrified! Thank goodness for drugstore makeup that lets me buy pretty things without spending a buttload of money!
People always say you have so much make up but you only have one face
I actually want to know what is the average makeup collection of people who don't watch beauty gurus?
YES! I discovered lanolips on my dry skin journey years ago in high school - their non scented, colorless one is pure lanolin and it’s amazing!!!!!!!! So glad to see lanolips on youtube!!
If YT didn't exist I wouldn't own half the stuff I do now, lol
me too and doesn't help working at ulta
Yeah Lauren Mae Beauty also does that kind of videos! I love them
Maruu Barrios Also Beauty with Emily Fox does them, very interesting tipe of videos for sure.
Maruu Barrios I love Lauren!
Agree
Sometimes I miss these day's when you go to store and pick makeup you haven't heard any reviews😀
Oh I love this idea so much! Totally going on my list :) And this reminds me I still need to try a MAC blush!
You should do it the way I did. I'd love to watch it! I told you about it a while back. I applied all the makeup and called it How I Did My Makeup Before UA-cam (tag). I tag you lol ;) xx
Samantha March yes I would love to see you do this!
The lanolips strawberry is my favorite! So hydrating, clear, and shiny!
I love the Lano products! Haven't done the tinted gloss...just the clear ones and they are amazing for dry lips.
Addicted!
I’ve never heard anyone talk about the shea moisture priming moisturizer but it’s amazing. Love this video idea
I love lanolips! Their multipurpose ointment stays by my bed and I put it on my lips and cuticles every night before going to sleep and it's perfect.
Yessss those photo ready shadows... I tried to apply them to my eye like they were in the package and I looked crazy
LOL
Love the concept of this video :D
My products, that I have today in my collection are: mac pro long wear concealer, urban decay blush in quickie, cover fx illuminating setting spray and the bare minerals invisible bronzer. I love them all and will consider repurchase when I run out of them.
Yes! I love this idea so much! I really want to do a similar video! 💕
Lisa Stevens good! Because I was going to tag you 💜
Oh and you are so good at your reviews!!
I have 3 of the 4 Pixi mists! I'm surprised not many people talk about picking products because they're actually really great!
I remember applying my makeup like my mom did and using the same kind of products because that was all I knew. Then I found Michelle Phan on UA-cam and I swear her early videos (before she got so ad heavy) were so perfect! I still use some of those techniques even now
I love finding things at the store and then having youtubers reviewing it and saying it’s great! Such a great feeling!
I love Mac Melba, so perfect every time. Very buildable. Loved this video idea.
I love all the different types of videos you do, it's always refreshing to see something else!
Jessica, you always have such unique videos! I love watching you, and thank you so much! You're the best.
I love the pixi makeup settings sprays, I have the glow one and it’s amazing !
(Probably not since I didn't know much about makeup & hadn't tried enough products yet to know what I like, what works for me & what looks good on me)
I also just found an old lip gloss from 10-ish yrs ago hiding in an old makeup bag that I had forgotten about.
Great idea for a video! It would be interesting to see a haul/review of stuff you'd never heard about before. Love your videos!
Great new style! I mainly try out concealers without reviews, especially drugstore ones 😊
yes, that suncream is amazing
Maybeline soft pearl is my favorite!!!! I love it!
Watching you is like watching a good friend that knows her stuff and I’m lucky enough to take notes, learn some things and not waste my money at the check out.💖😚🙏🏽
PetLover2012 oh yes - all this!
Loved this. Great idea and love that you have so much drugstore! ♥ Elle
I’ve only been watching UA-cam for maybe 8 months.. I’ve always either not worn makeup or use makeup that my mom passed along to me 😂 now I’m addicted to makeup and LOVE watching UA-cam beauty videos
i purchased the elf flawless finish foundation on a whim and a few weeks later i watched one of your videos and you were raving about it!!!! it’s been my fav for about a year now :-)
I love soap and glory. Their face cleansers are my go to cleansers. They have nice skincare.
Omg the maybeline singles, I used to be all about those and the L’Oréal infallible shadows. Between that and a couple Mac shadows those are the eyeshadows I had before I started watching UA-cam.
ooh i love the shade pink swoon! that was one of my first MAC blushes.
I love the Biore watery essence!! Awesome video, Jessica!😊💜
Marisol Ruiz Dr Jart water drop!
This is a helpful video for a minimalist makeup collection love your videos Jessica❤️❤️
I love the Physicians Formula foundation. It is one of my favorites right now!
You are so real it's unreal. Loved this video 😘
I ordered that Farmacy mist because of you and I’m really excited to try it!!
Love ur channel!Could watch you everyday!Never get tired of ur videos! Can’t wait till that baby girl is born! She will be gorgeous just like her mommy!
Yes, I am loving this video idea- I’ll have to check out my own collection!!! Also I absolutely love the PF foundation ❤️😊
