Thanks! I'll be posting a year in review/compilation from 2023 in a few days. I have a lot of video that never got posted so I thought it would be good to do a compilation video with the year's gold total at the end. Thanks for watching. Happy Prospecting!
looks cool been prospecting off and on my whole life... my brother Keven used to be the GPPA and Lost Dutchman claims director for years in NorCal ... hoping to see more of your vids and maybe come down from Trinity some day and pick up a kit to play with :)
Thanks. It's always rewarding and validating when an experienced prospector understands the dredge's potential. I was up that way on a friend's claim on Canyon Creek about about a month ago and I have a few customers in Trinity that use their GoldiBoxes quite a bit. That's really cool about your brother being director. I bet you've had some amazing prospecting experiences (and finds). Stay tuned, I'll be posting a lot more video in the next few weeks while the water is running high and cold. Happy Prospecting!
Hi thanks for your interest in the GoldiBox Backpack Dredge. Yeah, I totally get it. I was bummed I didn't get the cleanout footage. It was an epic day and I tried to shoot as much footage of the GoldiBox in use and I ran out of batteries while shooting underwater. There was a great segment that I thought we recorded but didn't We used the nozzle extension to get into a 8" deep by 3 inch wide crack and we were watching nice pieces get sucked up. It was some of the best footage I thought I had shot. I cleaned and weighed the gold back home but didn't video it since it wasn't on location and a long continous cleanout shot. I just returned from an outing where I recorded the GoldiBox cleanout in one long take. We'll get that posted online shortly. Regarding run time: That depends on the battery & pump combination. If you use the recommend pump and battery, you'll get a solid 3-3.5 hours of runtime. Please let me know if you have any further questions. More info can be found at www.GoldiBox.com Happy Prospecting! Larry
really interested in learning a little more about this prospecting tool. You're website seems to be blocked for me though.. I am in Australia. Is it just and Aussie thing?
Hi, thanks for your interest in the GoldiBox. My apologies, the servers were being worked on over the weekend and are now back online. Please try again. We do have quite a few customers in New Zealand and Australia. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have. Happy Prospecting!
Hi, thanks for your interest in the GoldiBox Backpack Dredge. Yes, we have an unboxing video that shows what's included with the dredge and quick assembly. The video also shows the recommended items to complete the system (hose, pump and battery). There are links to those items in the video's description. The unboxing video can be seen here: ua-cam.com/video/ZXsNJgYEu6A/v-deo.html It's a casual unboxing shot in my lab where I do R&D and protyping. The production printer farm is elsewhere and we'll be doing a video on that in the future. Right now, the priorities are getting all the support content uploaded and the new products & accessories online We have dozens of happy customers in Australia and New Zealand. We'd like to add you to that list. :-) We ship within 1 business day and it typically takes 7-10 days to arrive. We'll be posting a lot of new video content in the coming weeks, Adventures from this year: featuring cleanouts, tips & tricks, and a bunch of new products. - The website is also undergoing an update. More info can be found at www.GoldiBox.com Stay tuned & Happy Prospecting! -Larry
@@timeisnow9855 I'm not sure what you wanted to order, but most of our Australia/New Zealand customers order the dredge & nozzle combo. The shipping total should be around $125. I used the following information during checkout on our website to get a shipping quote: BRISBANE GROVE Queensland 2580, Australia. That should give you a general idea of the shipping cost. You can do the same, go to GoldiBox.com add the items to your cart then start the checkout process. Just update your shipping information and it will give you the exact cost. It should be similar. We are currently running a New Year's sale with $50 off the dredge and dredge nozzle combo so that should help. Mention this comment, and I will also add a free bedrock crack attachment to your order. Please, let me know how I can assist you further. Happy Prospecting! (and New Year)
Hi Bob, thank you. If I am running the 3700 GPH pump I get approx. 1.5 hours of solid runtime. If I am running the 2000 GPH pump I'll get approx 3.5 hours. That's runtime. I turn the pump off any time I am not dredging. (i.e. clearing overburden, having lunch, etc). Because I get out several times a week, I only go for a few hours. If I am going for longer, I'll bring two batteries. They are 6.5 lbs ea. I am putting together a video and article on pumps, batteries, runtimes and over volting. I think it will be a big help to everyone in the community. I've spent 100s of hours developing the GoldiBox the past 3 years and I've tested at least a dozen different pumps (for months at a time) with different voltages. A 25% bump in voltage does wonders for suction ;-) I appreciate the interest, but the .stl files are not for sale. I do offer complete, printed GoldiBoxes, suction nozzles and extensions online - www.GoldiBox.com Happy Prospecting!
Love the idea but how durable when plastic is this is it possible to make a cast then cast the 3d printed design but in metal like recycled river finds to make it au lokked goos also
The GoldiBox Backpack Dredge is extremely durable. The dredge in the video is over a year old and has been out dozens of times. It has well over 300 hours of use on it. It wouldn't make sense to cast it into metal. It would be heavier and there are internal components you could not make with metal/machine with traditional methods. The GoldiBox has gone through many prototypes and iterations. It is a very reliable, lightweight and durable.
The GoldiBox is an ultra portable electric dredge that can run above the water and also as a submersible dredge with the optional cover. It can run in as little as 3" of water or to whatever depth you're working at. A 12v 3700 GPH pump is recommended. Please see the description for links to the recommened hose, battery and pump. Visit GoldiBox.com for more informaton. Happy Prospecting!
I have seen this equipment in use. It is durable and works great. I own one now and is by far my best piece of prospecting equipment 😎
Bruce, thanks! I am glad you are happy with your GoldiBox. I appreciate the business and the kudos.
I agree. It has great durability and Goldibox customer service is top notch.
That thing works amazingly and can be used anywhere 👍👍
