Oh I do like the humour. We were along a similar route last autumn and also had a bit of money left in the will for us and we saluted Auntie and Uncle all around the trip with a beverage. It is nice to go back to places you have visited before. There is something comforting about it and you see it differently somehow. Thank you for the info on the site names, locations etc. Loved it. !
Thank you Debra😊. For us the odd thing was that the places we would put bottom of our list (based on previous trips) turned out to be the highlights! I know what you mean about comforting though. In some places we ended up sitting in exactly the same seats as we had years before, and were pretty delighted with it😀. Cheers, Brian and Rhona
Thanks for sharing your trip, some amazing places.wish we had this technology on our trip some 15 years ago. Looking forward to watching your next trip. Fingers crossed the Rosyth Ferry takes off again.
Thanks Valerie☺️. I know what you mean about the technology. We had a little camcorder and a helmet cam when we had the motorbike. Their quality was okay back then, but unwatchable now. Even the cheapest phone has a better camera. Rosyth! Wouldn’t that be great. Cheers, Brian and Rhona.
Loved your video they were some fabulous places you visited. God bless the woman who left you the money to do it, she must have been a fabulous soul. Wishing you the very best on your recovery back to health
Thanks Pam☺️. Yeah she was a nice person. We had to read the letter from her solicitors a few times, because we couldn’t believe it. Nothing like that had ever happened to us before. Rhona had kept in touch with her even after she moved away, and in her last few months but never dreamed she would do something like that. As you say, a fabulous soul💕 We’re 90% sorted health wise now👍 Cheers, Brian and Rhona.
What a great vlog loved the places you went would like to follow your footsteps we like the edge of town sites for a beer etc lol looking forward to your scottish trips 👍🏴
Thanks George😊. I was just thinking it looks like we do nothing but drink! But it's the edit of course😉. Although I recall that even putting up a tent was a two bottles of beer job for us. Cheers, Brian and Rhona.
great Vlog Robbo right mixture of weather no wonder you both got ill you visited and stayed in some beautiful places although we do fancy going to Venice but crowded places aren't out thing.
Thanks Kurt😊. I know the first time we went to Venice it kind of freaked us out it was so busy. Out of season, and as early in the day as possible is the only way it works for us. Thing is we just stopped at Venice this time to break the Journey (two nights in Fusina). The lakeside pitches are a little expensive, but I'd recommend them. I'd say that being on the edge of the lagoon and dusk and dawn over Venice turned out to be a highlight for us. Cheers, Brian and Rhona.
Nothing like a stroll down memory lane. Best done together. Thanks for taking me along. I hope you both recover nicely and are soon back to enjoying more travels.
Thanks Ruth😊. We've been on a few campsites near small towns in Germany in September. It's often really creepy, because the pumpkins and Witches stuff all comes out. I remember one place where we didn't see another human being, but it seemed like every window had a witch peering out of it! Cheers, Brian and Rhona.
Thanks Sheila😊. I've been thinking a lot recently about the little shipyard I was an apprentice in, and how it was sort of unacceptable to go more than a few minutes without a laugh. Great days🙂. Cheers, Brian and Rhona.
Hi Mark😀 We are pretty happy with it. The kitchen is fine for us at least. We leave the rear bed up permanently which is the real bonus for us. We did look at another van as well, which seemed more airy and open. Luckily I realised it was because the overhead lockers were much shallower than the Cv40. We need the storage the CV gives us for the two months in Spain. Ours has had serious use for the two years we have had it with no real problems. Hope that helps. Cheers, Brian and Rhona.

Thanks Pam😊. Getting there now. All these fluey/covidy things seem to take two or three weeks to get rid of now it seems.
Cheers, Brian and Rhona.
Villagers with pitch forks - I laughed out loud 😂😂😂. Brilliant stuff. I’m hoping one day we can do even a quarter of this. Thank for sharing 🙂

Great to see you back and sorry you have both been unwell. Looking forward to your Scottish travels. You can’t beat it especially the Glesca humour 😂

Cheers, Brian and Rhona.
@@RobbotheHighlander no worries bud always great videos.
We are thinking about a cv40 do you like it and do you find the kitchen to narrow ?
