I am genuinely curious as to why Alaska hasn't been in drag for the video episodes lately? As in, is it a medical issue, is it just not wanting to be in drag, something more insidious, or...? She used to have concepts and references and put up some incredible looks here, so I think I'm concerned overall. Selfishly, I suppose I am also very much craving more of Alaska's lovely looks, huge wigs, and earnestly nice makeup - I love watching them kiki and queen out in drag, and it looks oddly lopsided if only Willam is doing the high level of kuntenserven!
i don’t think it’s anything other than she doesn’t want to get in drag. i’m pretty sure she’s said she doesn’t really like the (physical) feeling of being in drag so i can’t imagine spending an hour plus getting in drag just to sit and talk is something she really wants to do which is fair. also remember those looks you’d see were from videos that happened twice a month so i would imagine she’s still gonna serve a look every few videos but she doesn’t feel the need to every time. i think willam genuinely gets a lot of joy out of getting in drag and being in drag so i would imagine she would want to be in drag any chance she gets but not every queen’s like that
she’s been pretty much all consumed by drag the musical as of the last month or so, i imagine she just wants to be able to relax out of drag while she’s not rehearsing/ on stage. the LA run just finished so she’ll likely be bring back the looks once she’s well rested :)
