Both sound really the best Marshall Woburn 2 it is I honestly appreciate it . I’ve listened to this 5 times to make the decision I was a little confused at the first because Stanmore really did good at mids and high . But then Woburn did the bass and trebles both while keeping it loud . I can feel the thumps in Woburn . Thank you best . For making it easier. 🥰🥰🙃👍🏻 And Woburn 1 I checked for it through many stores but couldn’t find and once again thanks for your opinion about these .
Yay! I'm so happy for you! You are going to love the Woburn 2, it's a spectacular speaker and can do everything the stanmore can do with a little more room and another woofer to bat!
Wow. I love both sound profiles, but the Woburn seems to have a better separation of tones than the Stanmore. I can more easily distinguish specific instruments, and though I’m not a huge bass person, that bass is amazing as well- without sounding muddy.
I would have liked another popular song to compare with good vocals but great you didn’t flip back and forth too quickly to give time to hear them individually.
I'd like to hear your opinion on the sound of each speaker. If not too much trouble, break them down a little in the difference in your own words. Thanks for the vid!
Hi, I picked the Stanmore 2 non Alexa version .... But even when the volume is on 30% there is barely any sound coming from the speaker . To actuall hear anything i need to pump it up to 60% to 80% . Is the speaker faulty ?
@@KrishaangVohra Hey , Thanks for the reply . I got that speaker replaced .... But the second speaker is the same as the 1st 😟. So confused its driving me crazy .
I have 2 Stanmore 2 speakers. Mine are the same as you described. It’s just the way they work I guess. I bought two to pair but they will NOT pair. They cut out and it’s terrible so that was disappointing. But I love the speakers and just put them in different rooms which is fine.
It's designed for low incremental listening levels instead of being outright loud. I have a stanmore 2 and 2 woburn 2s. All 3 are the same at lower volume levels. It's when the volume is set to 1 o'clock that it starts juicing up.
Weird query: but do you think either of them couod function as a make shift PA speaker for small cafe performances 50-100 people max where in the input of guitar, vocals and other instruments are fed through an audio interface and routed into the RCA in of the woburn..... Genres incluse alternative rock, indie garage, psychedelic (spaghetti western)
Hey Danny, Thanks for you great videos! Im on the fence between Standmore 3 and Woburn 2 as they currently can be found at a similar price. Which one would you recommend? I would much appreciate your feedback. Thanks in advance!.
@@DannyPops that's a shame. I have a stanmore 2 coming in today for my woburn 2 to do the same exact thing and "Marshall Support" told me it did work. :/
If I close my eyes there are places where I don't feel much difference. However there are places you can definitely tell it is Woburn 2 because of higher bass...i am super confused now on which one to buy...in India Woburn 2 is 50% costlier than Stanmore 2 so, that's a big difference....on the other hand I can make the plunge and then never look at another set of speakers for a long time....can you please help me make this decision?
@@anuragmoudgil3970 i listened to both the speakers at Croma and felt that Stanmore is very capable speaker in its own might. Only if you listen to it side by side Woburn will you notice any difference. If your room is too big then Stanmore might not be suitable. I'll recommend to go to some store and listen to the speakers personally

That Woburn in white cream color is simply beautiful!!!😍

The woburn 2 is going to have a lot more punch than the stanmore 3... but the woburn 3 is still better than either of those to me.
Hi victor. Can u pls share which speaker u went with. Stan iii or woburn ii as I'm too considering between the two
Hello and thank you for this comparison. Can we plug a mic in the WOBURN II? thanks
Woburn is far more expensive, thats the best thing in stanmore😊 but sound wise? Ill go with woburn all day😉👍
Nice comparison!
Stanmore 2 vs the bose portable home speaker, what’s your pick?
Stanmore vs color? Stanmore anyday

No you can't. :(

I think in your case there's not 50% more bass on the Woburn. It depends on your use but I think the stanmore would be fine.
@@DannyPops Thanks a lot for your response. And for the great reviews on your channel.

I would love to. I'm betting the original Acton is better based on my Woburn 1 performance.
