I have heard of using Pinesol on heavily soiled clothes like bathroom accidents. I sometimes use it for my floor rugs. I never used dish soap. was scared I was going to over flow it with suds

You can’t anymore. They have changed it. You can’t wash your clothes anymore with Pine sol. Read the label.

I have used pine oil for years in my clothes to really make them clean and disinfect. BUT. You are a little late. They have change the formula. it is Not for washing clothes anymore. Just found out 2 months ago. I used it also to disinfect my dark colors but you could only use a little if not colorfast. Read the label it don’t say anymore that you can wash your clothes and they said it’s not to wash clothes anymore !!!

Yea… there’s a good reason “big American” companies don’t use pine sol for clothes. Cause it’s made from pine, a typical skin irritant. Many people are allergic or reactive to pine in one form or another. So best to not, NOT try this unless you already used pine soap to wash your hands, for instance.

I've put pine sol, vinegar, ammonia, baking soda just to name a few into a load, and the machine didn't malfunction.
