I am doing the same right now as well because based on how the emperor/king was shown carrying her after she fainted, she would have to be a human as a weasel isn't big enough to require both arms and yet her "curse" hasn't been broken which should mean she's still a weasel, especially since when Ranon saw her he saw her as a weasel on the guy's shoulder but then she's again later shown to wake up as a regular human. I thought this therefore meant she kept changing between both forms at random (kind of like how Princess Fiona from Shrek was cursed to change between a human and an ogre every night) but then the story also makes it pretty clear that she's been stuck in the body of a weasel for a thousand years meaning she is absolutely not changing her appearance in every other scene but then that leaves the question of how the other characters are able to interact with her weasel body as though it were the size of her human body.
