As someone who is apart of Gen Z. We are not the most progressive generation we’re just like the others but in a different way. Some of y’all are so “progressive” and “open” your brains fall out and you stand for nothing. We’re actually going backwards. The more things change the more they stay the same. I think this generation has deluded themselves into thinking they’re more than what they really are and y’all have an almost narcissistic view of yourselves and how much better you think you are than other generations. Y’all have obsessively attached yourselves to a dumb label such as Gen Z (which is only being pushed to keep us divided from other generations) the way y’all do everything else and make that your entire personality.

while we do have our issues like any other generation as you stated, we cannot say we have regressed. we’ve become significantly more accepting and are working more to better the planet than previous generations. there is most definitely always going to be a group of people disagreeing with the majority, but that doesn’t mean we can categorize the entire generation in that manner. labels like “gen z” are the same way people refer to gen y as “gen y”, but this is more popularized due to media that we have at our fingertips. also generations have always been divided, as there’s a concept called the generational divide. also when you stated “we’re actually going backwards. the more things change the more they stay the same”, i have to point out that you contradicted yourself 3 times which kinda dissuade me from agreeing w u

@@ariellamasters5271 i never said gen z started/is taking credit for those movements/events lol. i j said that they're more accepting and progressive. since people get access to more technology and thus get exposed to politics more as time moves forward, people are likely to become more adjusted to/used to the media theyre consuming therefore more informed about politics. they also get more exposed to civil/environmental issues through the media and thus have allowed future generations + gen z to become more active in combatting these issues.

It hurts people like me who actually know the difference. How does it hurt me? I was told that my Native American tribe, and actual bloodline was 'incorrect'. What the hell. Seriously, not cool.
