'Shim Cheong' throws hersrlf into the sea of Indangsoo. She becomes a sacrifice to the God of the sea so that her blind father can regain his eyesight. The Sea King was touched by her and let her return to the land. Shim Cheong was put into a big lotus blossom. The sailors bring the lotus to the king and the king made her his queen. Her father recovers his sight and they live happily together.
