Great footage! Thanks for sharing what’s included and going on for this ship. We’re going on Carnival Horizon in February 2024. Haven’t been on this ship yet so good to see everything before getting onboard. ✊🏾
Aww man, we’re sailing on the Horizon next month. I didn’t know the Havana rooms were like that. We have a regular balcony. But next time, I’ll look into getting a Havana room.
Yeah. We love them. Just booked the Mardi Gras for 5/11. 8 day with a Havana Balcony. Not all Havana rooms have that balcony though. There’s only a handful.
seriously if u think u can fit it in ur budget its worth doing at least once - we ended up back there mostly because we prefer aft balconies so kind of "had" to get one because that just happened to be where all the higher up aft balconies were lol
woohoo what did yall think of the Havana area? we just came off the Horizon in Sept and ended up with the same cabin opposite side on deck 9 - will be on her again this Aug in a regular aft balcony on deck 9 then again the following March in the same corner cabin we had in Sept - we like deck 9 because tho it may be right under Lido theres no chance for anyone about us to look down on our balcony plus that overhang is good for shade. of course there were some negatives that i can never remember probably because i enjoyed the rest of the cruise so much - also have a b2b on the Panorama Dec of 2025 which we are really looking forward to - great informative vid!
Thoroughly enjoyed it. We got introduced to them with a Havana Cabana on the vista in 2018. It’s just never really crowded despite the number of people on the ship. This one was really nice because we had the set of stairs just outside our door to get down there for a drink or just to enjoy the area. We just booked a Havana Cabana on the Mardi Gras for May.
@@yallalwaysgone man i wasnt even aware of that set of stairs over there but im guessing it probably doesnt go down from deck 9 where we were(?) going to have to seek that out next time we are on this ship. i wasnt that enamored of Mardi gras tho that aft corner suite was AWESOME - if we ever go on that ship again idk that i would do a Havana cabin given where its situated on the side - but i totally get why someone would book one
@@adjustableWench Yeah. We heard about the Mardi Gras cabanas from another friend of mine. He wasn’t a fan either after being on the vista ones but my wife and I both just like having an area where it doesn’t feel like you’re traveling with 4/5,000 other people.
I’m curious. How was that? Did they have entertain set up? Obviously nothing was scheduled because they didn’t expect you all to be on the ship still? I imagine they had to extend the time you could stay in your room. I’m sure they left the bars and restaurants open. Had that ever happened to your before? As much as my wife and I travel, 2023 was the first time we’ve ever had a flight delayed and the first time we’ve had a delayed embarkation.
@yallalwaysgone This was my first time experiencing a delay in departure as well. Yes, they opened the buffet for lunch & the bars, the karaoke bar was open and we could stay in our rooms. I felt bad for the workers because that must have been an extremely long day for them.
@@MethosFilmsCrazy thing about us is we’ve never flown to port. I guess that’s a benefit of living in Florida. 10 cruises, no flights. Even when we left out of Galveston on the Breeze we drove. Not that bad going, absolutely awful coming back. We have a 10 day Alaskan next year and that’ll be our first time flying. We plan on doing a couple days before and late night the day we get back. Hang out in San Francisco a bit.
Hey. Yes. My son counted as we were in line and we are 27th from the end. We were amongst the last few people to board. So our rooms were ready and luggage was there by the time we got to our rooms.
Thanks for the detailed video
Thanks for watching.
Enjoyed watching this video. Thank you for sharing!! 😃
Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.

@@yallalwaysgone plus the Havana area on Mardi gras isnt at the back of the ship

Going on the horizon June 2nd can’t wait. 🙏🏾❤️
@@carmenjackson4597 Enjoy. We’re going on the Mardi Gras again in 45 days. Havana Cabana on the that one. Not as big but we have a swing.
Thats crazy I literally just did a review on this exact same trip xD. Great video though brotha
Thanks. Let me find yours. Curious to see a different aspect.
Bro. We were on the same cruise. That’s wild.
For JiJi, lunch was free. Enjoyed my cruise on Horizon back in late november.
Oh wow. Thanks for that. Had no idea.
@@yallalwaysgone i was glad for that. im now craving more of that watermelon jicama salsa from the blue iguana lol.

My sister and I were on the Carnival Celebration coming into Miami to debark & because of the weather we did not debark until 4:30pm.

That is why I fly in the day before and after the cruise so it don't mess up my flights in case this happens

steak house is awesome
Indeed. Funny…I just booked it for May 17th on the Mardi Gras. My wife’s birthday.
Were your rooms ready when you finally boarded?

Carnival can’t control the weather or maritime laws
I’m aware. Never said they could. Doesn’t mean I can’t be upset we were robbed of our first day no matter the reason.
