31:00 cycling lorien revealed here is a big mistake when you're putting citadel into play next turn. Lorien is a shuffle and you're not constrained on mana, so you really want to keep it in hand.
I would argue that the best analog to a Mox locked under Collector Ouphe (or similar artifact hate piece) is the scrap artifact tokens that Farid, Enterprising Salvager makes. They're literally an Artifact with no abilities *and* they have a mana value of 0 because they're tokens.
The saturation is still low compared to normal but this video helped the resolution problem a lot. I’ll tweet at you 2 pictures of volcanic island (one from this video and one from a video about a month ago) and show you how the old one was more vibrant. Like the current one looks washed out. Idk if that’s something you can easily fix tho
14:10 - Sorry for backseating, but you should always drop saga before mox on t1 vs unknown deck. The reason is that they can have the green force and they can blow up both mox and saga in response to the saga trigger, so you can't tap saga for mana. It's a minor thing, but it's good to have in muscle memory.
What does that sequencing change? They're going to get 2 cards with FoV no matter what and I don't have a 2 drop to cast. I'm aware of the interaction and if it mattered I would have done it the other way. You're not wrong about anything, but you don't need "muscle memory" if you asses the information and determine it doesn't matter.
looking at the deck spread out card by card during the deck tech I can't help wondering "is this the optimal list or did Brian change some final slot in order to have the resulting 60 conform a perfect rectangle in that screen?" (which is 100% percent based solely on my own ocd habit patterns - that kind of thing is totally something I myself would do)
19:58 "theres a new card there and this is vintage, any card could change the entire game" _there was, in fact, a card there that changed the entire game._
@@Dreg_s I know. What I tried to say was: 1) I don't play vintage. 2) In my other decks for other formats, I would play a card that made an opponent draw a card if it was at all competitive. 3) Since you are playing Vintage, you have that in the form of Ancestral Recall. 4) That is quite unique opportunity to punish a thassa's oracle. and 5) you wasted it. I would love for LabMan and Wielder of Mysteries to replace Oracle SO MUCH tbh
The recording for this video was very bright (to the point I had to turn down the brightness on my end), and the colors of some of the cards appear much lighter than they should. Also could you shrink the size of your hand to the point where the phases of the turn meet your cards to remove the dead space between them? Always enjoy watching the content though, and I hope you get your settings squared away with more tinkering.
I know you probably already know this, but your most recent recordings are much darker than before, you probably need to change your color space setting to NV12, 601, and 'partial' to brighten things up.

I love the vintage decks because they always sound like you’re picking your favorite win cons and shoving

This vintage gameplay has been so awesome. Would love to see more!
More to come!
47:20 It's Darksteel Relic
Came to check just for this

Yup. Increased that for tomorrow. Dialing it in.

@@BoshNRollYou get to cast tinker turn 1 that way
@@BoshNRollBy doing it that way you tell them you have no 2 drop
Always excited for Vintage. Thanks Brian!
Day 16(real this time) of proclaiming my love of bosh n roll
Darksteel relic? Thanks for uploading, and loved your write in for the unsleeved podcast.

that card text is looking C R I S P.

Vintage feels like playing with all the cards I couldn’t afford as a kid, I gotta get some MTGO leagues under my belt.
Lets be real this is cedh + playset Force of Will lol
Nah, cEDH is Vintage with 1 force of will.
@BoshNRoll very valid, guess you can tell which format I got into first huh
12:11 BRO! I always say that I would play a Target Opponent draws a card spell in most of my sideboards, and you played one, and missed lethal. Ouch
Why use a sideboard slot ancestral is target player

Video looks great!
Vintage....too OP. Great content
Vintage is such a beauty, unfortunately I can’t afford to play it 😢

I think the line of play that concluded match one is the closest I'll ever get to understanding chess players calling a play "beautiful"
bosh pack smoke em if you got em always excited for a vintage pack in the morning
Serious question is Vintage or cEDH a more broken format?
I argue cEDH, simply because of how interactive vintage is vs how no interactive cEDH can be.
Vintage for sure
I was gonna ask why not target them with recall, and then you spotted it.
Cards look much better!

Yup it's a work in progress. I'm on a new computer. Slowly dialing it in.
12:10 I'd rather lose than let my opp draw cards, so I don't blame you.
Would love to see a bosh n roll take on a legacy flumph deck if just for the fun wins
Hello!
Hello!
maybe this is my cedh brain talking but i'm surprised this list that has tinker isn't hiding one grinding station in that deck
I think the question is what do you cut?
Fantastic
V I N T A G E A G A I N
ancestral lethal lmao
The whole deck (main and SB) is literally a few steps removed from looking like a cEDH deck. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
I think it’s the other way around haha
Darksteel relic iirc
Day 1 of saying "day 100 of saying I think bosh should be sponsored by me but I don't yet have the money"
No beseech is a sin
Didn’t exist when I recorded this
@@BoshNRoll i get that, but it's still awkward. None of this is even remotely relevant anymore with beseech out, the card is huge for vintage
