What makes it even better is to mix in an egg yolk as soon as you turn off the heat after reducing the sauce. It creates an emulsion so the water and oil don’t separate like they are in the video, and gives it a much better texture/flavor.
The veggies are there to impart the flavor. Straining the sauce is just something you'd do in a restaurant or fine dining setting for presentation and consistency. Leave em in if you want :)
@@Liquidglitch Cool thank you! Yeah I was hoping I could leave them in to avoid wasting them. But wasn’t sure if there was a reason other than presentation value for discarding them!
I made this and it was unreal. I didnt strain out vegtables. It made a nice taste amongst the sauce. Highly recommend leaving them in.
Thank you for sharing. This makes me wanna try it.
And you might've inspired a fun night of cooking, movies and maybe some wine.
What I do is strain the sauce to still reduce but reserve the veggies for the end
Beautiful work and steps described perfectly. Thank you for the video, Saved to try soon.
Please make Beef Bourguignon 😀

One of my favorite meals. Looks great

Thx....if u want veggie chunks like carrot, celery mini potatoes etc...when do u add?

What would happen if you didn’t strain the vegetables out before reducing the sauce?

What wine did you use? My sauce and meat stayed purple-ish looking lol
If u want veggie chunks like carrot celery etc do u add in like last 45 min and take out with meat?
Can I make this in any other pot?
I like to add some anchovy, soy sauce and worstershire. Not much, but some.
That was amazing. I salivated like Pavlov's dog
Can you add potatoes to this dish ?
It's resting on bed of mash, so yes you can.
Jesus NO! somebody in France did that about 31 years ago and , needless to say, their children were involved in a boating accident...
I want vegan ribs version
🤢🤮
😂
Not possible 😊
Why lie? A vegan hotdogs is a carrot in a bun... just call it was it is. I prefer honesty and could never live a life f lies like your average vegan.
