- As creators get used to all of the new tools that 2.2 offers we'll get to see more structure, variety of effects and new styles being formed. Toxic Surge is proof of that, we get to see the new blocks and effects in action, with the camera controls being the star here, it makes a level so much more dynamic and interactive, especially when you integrate it into the gameplay.
Putting aside the gameplay the toxin design is great, the vibrant green coloring in the acid and the blocks combined with the purple lighting and orbs, it's done tastefully.

Platformer mode is super great, but my heart will always be with these rhythmic traditional levels. This level is extraordinary, yet still only feels like the beginning of how insane these levels will get.

If nothing else, I love how they kept the sight reading intact. Makes the gameplay much easier to follow compared to a lot of other 2.2 levels.
Don’t get me wrong, the camera effects are done really well here, but nobody can actually sight read something like this right? I mean parts of it are sightreadable, and none of it is designed to unfairly surprise you, but still I don’t imagine anyone can do much of this level without practicing

@@ComedyVault101I remember getting 40% or so in my first few attempts. I'm not saying this to flex at all, I've wasted thousands of hours in this game when I could've been doing something productive with my life. but it is sightreadable with enough experience in my opinion

The levels feel way more alive, 2.2 made a huge impact on the game just by mostly adding camera effects. I love this update!
0:25 its a shame Robtop never fixed that visual bug when dash orbing backwards

the use of vfx in this level is just perfect

I was expecting 2.2 to be a repeat of 2.0, where no one knew how to use the new triggers and made unreadable shitshows for a year. But people are already starting to understand hoe to use the 2.2 things in moderation to make levels somewhat readable.

With these new triggers, the 2.2 levels will become much more complex, but more fun to play
This is a level that uses the new effects and gameplay elements correctly. More creators need to focus on how readable their levels are. Makes gameplay more fun.

I just woke with earphones and this plays I woke up like a nightmare had befallen me
I had seen an icon was to be unlocked by completing the toxic gauntlet. Hopefully this will be in there when the gauntlet in question is released
extinction is going to fall so flat after a month or so of these godly levels, GG
the first drop feels kinda underwhelming but everything else, i absolutely LOVE it!
On top of that, it's from someone I would have never thought of.
