I love catholic weddings, they’re just the best. Hearing these scriptures on your wedding day far exceeding hearing man made vows from you’re future spouse. There’s just something so sacred about them, and when you’re a catholic you know why. They’re making a covenant with Christ. It’s a sacrament. They’re just the best, I love them so much.

I have met a man who is Catholic i am Baptist but am 100 percent willing to change domination if it is meant to be. He is the first person that can calm my fears, my severe Anxiety. He has never judge me he just listens to all my nonsense. He is so patient with me.
I love this ❤. I was raised baptist and met a man who was able to help me with my anxiety and panic..he is Catholic. I converted to Catholicism last year and went through the RCIA classes to learn about it. Was a beautiful process. Absolutely amazing. I felt the holy spirit at my baptism and first communion. He just asked me to marry him and we are planning a Catholic wedding. I pray for you and the man to be wed and have a wonderful life ❤. I feel blessed to be able to read your comment!! Thank you

I’m watching 2 years later and I keep thinking, ‘those knees are going to be stiff!’. I’m getting married in 3 weeks. We’ve chairs and kneeling stands for my fiancé and self. I’m very glad. Some churches do things differently but our priest told us we’d have our own chairs before the alter and kneeling stands on the alter for when we needed to kneel. Thank the Lord. We will stand for our vows but the guests won’t. I do love how they are facing the guests. That’s beautiful.

Sounds like this version of "Hallelujah" was written with a wedding in mind. The words are beautiful and the soloist? Awesome. Not many soloists out there with such a rich tone. And his version of "Hallelujah" is/was better than most I've heard. As a musician, I can really appreciate the music in this ceremony. Very well done.

Not a fan of destination weddings because it doesn't allow for all friends and loved ones (who know you) to be with you at the wedding. Weddings at home are a better choice, in my opinion. It was sweet how he knew the couple. :)

Great Priest, great sermon for the young couple. Open both eyes B4 marriage, shut 1 after marriage (to each other's faults) & pour in tonnes of love, peace, sacrifice, tolerance & oceans & oceans & oceans of fidelity till eternity. May they be blessed with children & children & children. Good they "chose" to marry in the Church in the presence of God Most High & HE is witness to it all. Peace.
I would first like to say, I'm not a Catholic, my Mother is and so were her parents. That said, I'm not sure the ways of the Catholic church. I thought this was a beautiful wedding. To me, in my opinion, they are a young couple and they were married in the house of the lord Jesus Christ. I'm sure if they didn't follow exact protocol, the lord doesn't mind. It is the way they went about getting married, coming to the house of the lord to have their marriage blessed and to be holy. I would like to say to this couple, I hope your marriage is going well as this was a few years ago. I hope the lord has blessed you with a happy marriage and children. God Bless.

@@ntmn8444 They did not. They had an altar server. She (cringe) should have had a paten to make sure the Eucharist wouldn't hit the ground in case it was dropped. Instead, she, for whatever reason, was sitting doing nothing in the sanctuary. It's not her fault; it's the priest's.

Catholics believe that only the bridegroom can administer the sacrament of marriage(when they say their vows - which the Priest is there to ensure its said correctly), whereas I believe Presbyterian's do it through the (is it called a Priest in that denomination)? There's also a huge handbook and retreat engaged couples do before getting married...hat's a big difference.

+FrakU2 catholic weddings don't cost much. In fact, it could even be free. With full mass and a music director though, expect to pay at least $500 or so.

I am outraged... The liturgy was celebrated carelessly. Priest did not even knelt after the consecration. I think that american catholicism is different from european catholicism.
The Church in America is in need of revival just as it is in most places throughout the world. Most celebrants at the masses I have attended knelt during the consecration. Perhaps this priest is unable to easily kneel for some reason. For example, I have rheumatoid arthritis and find it extremely difficult to kneel during mass and usually have to simply bow my head during consecration.
We do kneel during the consecration. I don't know what that guy is talking about.

I was a raised as a born again Christian. i do not practice any faith. my boyfriend and his family are Catholic I except that. I will say I'm not sure i want to be married in a Catholic church per say since I've never even been to Catholic wedding. I have been to mass a few times with my boyfriend. it is verry different then what I was raised. my dream is to have an outdoor fall wedding .. I love him so much so if we marry in a Catholic church I will be happy knowing I am marrying the man of my dreams and that the reception is all me hahaha don't judge on what you don't know

Beautiful ceremony, great priest. I think the bride was pretty happy myself... but the crowd sucked. Priest is humorous and no one laughs, no one responds properly to the liturgy.. I guess that's California for you.

Assuming the environment the couple is in, you would assume they would appear to have a glow, or at least share a grin with one another. Based on the only evidence I was given as were you, objectively she does not look happy. Possibly that is just her being nervous, however you speak of not judging, when you are in fact the one contradicting your very words. Keep your anecdotal statements to yourself. keep in mind I started off with "sorry...." My intent was not to insult, but to make an observation. Sarahxii It's a communion wafer. You can decide if you want to recieve it in your hand or in your mouth, some people decide to kneel. I don't see anything liquid, and I don't think they even have communion wine at this ceremony.
After consecration it is the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ in the accidents of bread and wine.
This is why there are so many independent churches and wandering Bishops. I don't know what this was, but it was not the sacrament of marriage that I know. Post Vatican II crap.
