I just started watching your vids last year, looking for honest reviews and education on how to use products. The latter is much harder when just reading a label. I'm also interested in how you get your haircut/what to tell the barber to keep it simple but still leave hair to style. Thanks for all the tips!
Maybe you could look into some wet shaving content! I really liked the Lockhart's Shave Soap reviews, people to tend to like wet shaving videos and whatnot. Maybe like razor reviews, aftershaves, shave creams, etc.
Totally, I started to do that a little bit because I shave my neck and beard line. My Lockhart shave soap and Proaso shave soap reviews got good feedback
@@TheWorkmansPomp Good call! And I've personally also learned if you're just shaving the beard line and neck and all, one blade will do much better than a 3-5 blade razor. You can really get the fine details with the DE razor.
The pomp never goes out of style. There are young uns who have that moppy ridiculous style that will be here today, gone tomorrow, but the pomp is classic and here to stay, so i think you should till do what you've always done on these videos.
Your aging with so much grace. I don't really use pomade anymore. I think its time for me to cut all my hair and go clean shaven. Nothing is really looking good on me anymore.
Glad to see you're back. I always enjoy checking out your videos. I look forward to seeing more Dominus pomade reviews. Possibly more beard oil and beard butter reviews. Maybe Lodestar Grooming.
I’ve been a loyal viewer since you started the channel back in ‘06. I’ve learned so much from you. I’d love you to do a history on hair products from the kinds of products you tested 18 years ago till today. Maybe the same for beard products
Thank you for the feedback, sincerely, it means a lot. I’m usually just talking into a camera and I don’t really know what sort of impact I make on the world but I always appreciate feedback and comments from people. Also, you’ve been watching from the beginning? That’s pretty impressive. I’m surprised you haven’t died of cringe from me yet haha
@ I realize that you take the time and effort to make these videos for people like me. Almost all the original UA-cam reviewers are gone. I see you as the OG of hair and beard product recommendations and reviews.
Missed these vids!! My go-to is a consistent Pacino’s pomade. But I may switch it up soon. I’ve actually been looking at the BeardBrand styling paste next. Love the realness of the vids. Maybe give some opinions on some other products/fragrances etc. Good to see ya!
would still really like to see you try Byrd Clay. We have similar hair types and I find it to be the best petro-based clay out there Maybe the Reuzel oil based 's too. You never did those during your greaser days
I do have some reuzel coming up and honestly thought I did the grease, but clearly I didn’t. I really like the green a lot. I’ve been meaning to check out Byrd, so that’s on the list too now
I grew my hair out for a couple years (roughly around the time you did!) but I kept it . Fast forward to now , I’ve recently cut my hair, and unfortunately a lot of my pomade jars have dried out. It’s all good though, lesson learned
Glad to see you back. Really missed the videos. I would like to see some reviews on the California born products. They have a paste and the most popular product is a cream.
Admittedly not a consistent viewer, but I think it might be cool to do a little series of like, "pomades from each state" or "pomades around the world".
Thats weird because I responded too! I didn’t delete it. I actually went to my notifications and it’s still there but when I click on it, it goes nowhere. Weird.
The MSW is the degree and the LSW is essentially a license I can get because of the masters and social work. The next step is to get the LISW which is licensed independent social worker.

Grim Grease has a bunch of pomades and it’d be great if you reviewed any of those! I haven’t found any reviews on their newer stuff
You know, I haven’t tried there stuff since the second wave wayyyy back in the day, that’s a great recommendation

@lrlevy wow, well I really appreciate that compliment
May I suggest a channel name change to “The Swoleman’s Pomp”? ‘Cause dang son 👀💪😃

Interesting, I’ve never heard of that, I will definitely check this out, thank you!

Where did my comment from this morning go? Wanted to see your reply...

@TheWorkmansPomp Yeah, your reply not being in my notifications is odd...Conspiracy!
@ thanks for the congrats on the LSW and yeah, if you want to trade or donate pomade, hit me up on my insta! It’s beed136.
@@TheWorkmansPomp is an LSW higher up than an MSW?
