Josh, do you get a feeling that Zhiyun company needs to let the consumers know their product positioning in their gimbal line of products? Previously I was going get Crane 2 but later decided that I might get Crane Plus because of the higher number of functionalities available on Plus’ . But now that this POV is now available on Crane 2, I’m beginning to wonder if other functionality that is available in Crane Plus will eventually become available in Crane 2, which leads leads me think maybe I should buy Crane 2. If Zhiyun’s aim to distinguish V2, Plus, and 2 merely by their maximum weight tolerances, I would totally buy 2 but if not, I would save the money and get the Plus. To me, Zhiyun’s product positioning are so baffling.

I spent 3 days trying to balance this thing. I have tried all types of lens. Some said my camera was too light, but it was about 3 so it was no too light. Every time I turned it on when the thing was balanced it would tilt to the left unlike the youtube videos where it shows to adjust it's self perfectly. I had it where I Had I could place it any where too. I really hated the trouble this thing gave me. I used the app trying to calibrate it, but that did not help either half the time the app never worked either. After going on reddit and UA-cam for hours I have come to the conclusion I was given a defective one.
Why do they call this "Point of View"-Mode? I can understand if somebody calls it "Dutch Angle Mode" or "Rolling Follow Mode" but POV Mode makes no sense to me.
I would like to know how to set up motion timelapse with the current version of ZY Play. All of the tutorials I've seen so far have been with a much different version.

I have just buoyed my zhiyun crane 2, and I am facing a problem, while shooting in POV mode I had changed my motor setting from low to mid my gimbal stabilizer turns off< so again I had tried turning on but gimbal is turning on but the motor is not working (meansit it is not stablizing ) whole the motor is not turning on, Can you please help me in this case ?

If I’m not mistaken if its on lock mode shouldn’t it stay in the middle of the gimbal if I twist my body it stat where I stared at should it follow my movements

For all who have issues with the firmware upgrade specially on mac Sierra: you can't open the calibration tool on mac! the usb driver (i tried all of them!) did not recognize the crane 2. so i did the whole process on a windows laptop and it worked fine😀 I upgraded from 1.66 to 1.73 and Pov mode is working!!

Yes, but its only on the built/parts of the actual crane. The difference is on the 1). Packaging = Photos 2). Focus knob = Nicer holding screen and more detailed logo 3). Lens support bracket and camera plate = diferent support plate 4.) Batteries = they are branded with logo and are white, some version have green unbranded batteries 5.) Anti-Slip Grip Tape = They included a grib tape for the handle and its branded.
tazztone is the night lapse available after update? I don’t know either the difference but it would be good to clarify that. Unfortunately lack of communication from either Josh or Zhiyun and I guess that’s one of the reasons why DJI will still be on top after releasing new gimbal. I got myself Zhiyun 2 to save some money but wish to have DJI
MediaLook i don't know. got a crane 2 for 650$ and i have issues: slow drifting in lock mode, unable to apply joystick settings, motion timelapse starts exposing while the gimbal hasn't stopped moving (resulting in blur).... hope they fix it and add all the features (motion memory, nightlapse, pov) for all the cranes that are technically able to receive the updates. will do the update v1.72 soon

You can actually invert by holding the camera for the second you turn the gimbal upside down and you are good

Yes, I switch between wireless lavs and a wired boom mic. I use the wired boom mic whenever I can :)

It sounds like your pan axis is not properly balanced. The motor will shut off if it is under too much force.
Aside from the POV mode with the 1.73 update... is there now iso adjustments etc.
