Colby has good striking. Not near the best. Not near the worst. Just good striking. Chimaev is a little untested there. The time he striked mostly, he almost got KO'd a couple times but he also nearly KO'd Burns but again, as we know, Burns is a little chinny with CERTAIN shots (straight shots). It's a very good matchup. The only bad thing about this matchup is the size difference between the two. Chimaev is a weight bully in this division.

Chael's a promoter, the UFC is a promotion, the Kamaru PVP rating was hype to sell Usman. They're still trying to sell Colby as something he's not...he's a wrestler with a good tank, that's about it.

Chael is a huge Colby supporter so he's biased whenever Colby is involved.
I’ve said it years ago and I still believe it - Colbys cardio allows him to fight at a pace that only Usman can cope with. We need a true striking specialist (izzy, Anderson silva) type person to beat him on the feet otherwise Colby’s cardio makes up for it.
Colby would entertain khamzat knowing if he misses weight he doesn't have to contractually fight him

Colby has good striking. Not near the best. Not near the worst. Just good striking. Chimaev is a little untested there. The time he striked mostly, he almost got KO'd a couple times but he also nearly KO'd Burns but again, as we know, Burns is a little chinny with CERTAIN shots (straight shots). It's a very good matchup. The only bad thing about this matchup is the size difference between the two. Chimaev is a weight bully in this division.
