I'm 46 and here are a few lessons I wish someone told me in my 20s
1.Start with getting your measurements by going to a tailor. A tailor and someone that can do alterations out of a dry cleaners are on two different levels.
2. Always put fit over fashion especially designer labels. Take any dress shirt or suit you currently have to a tailor. You will learn so much about fit.
3. Purchase based on patter or colors that go with your skin tone.
4. Buy off season and clearance racks at high end. EBay for sartorial high end suits.
5. Avoid trends. Classics will allow you to have a flexible and long lasting wardrobe and look more like an established young man.
6. Invest in good quality shoes. Beckett Simonon is a good starting point. Look for Goodyear welt or Blake stitch. This always you to have your shoes resoled.
Start with these basics and you'll grow into a gentleman that is respected by your peers and older people as well.

Would strongly suggest getting your nose on The Woods Collection’s Royal Night. I was in Louis Vuitton store yesterday and smelled Ombré Nomad for the first time in instantly felt like I owed the store $375 dollars. I see why this is arguably the highest rated clone from any “clone house” out there.
