I agree. It’s a rare interview style. I know I’m guilty of filling in the word that someone is trying to find. Thank you for interviewing one of the most amazing modern writers we have.
In short, an interviewer who, when faced with a brilliant writer, manages to let go of his own ego and allows the interviewee to be applicable. Very good. The best Karl Ove interview I've ever seen.
He is equally great interviewing every author. Always adapting and learning. With bad interviewers you see them always returning to the same subjects that they like. Which is normal and human, but with this podcast you always feel you're getting something new as it's a real encounter with the interviewee
I can't remember enjoying an interview more. I discovered Karl Ove Knausgaard years ago and became an instant fan. Brad's interviewing style is superb and unique.
Always a pleasure to have a new Knausgaard interview, great insights delivered in a very calming tone. Thanks! (sidenote, kind of amusing to see him vaping 😄)
Such great questions asked! I wasn’t expecting this kind of deep literary interview and I couldn’t stop listening. “I sit down and I write shit”. That’s really inspiring! Thank you for this interview. 🤓☕️
So grateful that Brad let Karl Ove speak and never interjected or interrupted. If only other interviewers could do so well. Thank you.
thanks for tuning in & thanks for the kind words. appreciate it.
