@@herohour6496it is dinamax, maybe you should start training your dinamax pokemon, or using rare candys for your dinamax pokemon instead of your shundos
@ people frustrated bcs of gigamax is understandable, bcs all we know the diffiiculty of them. But being 7 and can't even be able to defeat a dinamax? That’s because all of you havent understood the dinamax dynamic yet. All of the days you need to do 4 fights with dinamax pokemon and put your pokemon in the Max spot to get 5 candies from each one, so you can get 20, TWENTY candies everyday!! Week has 7 days, so you can farm 140 candies every week, or just 120 candies but at seventh day you are able to increase one of your ‘Max moves’. Now doesnt sounds that hard to train dinamax pokemon, right?
Wouldn't lapras be a better tank than Blastoise? I have a lv27 lapras, I could get a Blastoise to a higher lv if it tanks better at certain lv. Also wouldn't water gun be a bit better than bite, or was bite hitting a different breaking point?
Lapras would be better here since its quad resisted to ice. They probably couldn’t max since squirtle is much more common than Lapras. If you do have Lapras make sure you have water gun for fast move. On Blastoise, there’s really not much difference between bite and water gun. They probably used bite to do a little bit of extra damage for fast moves.
Yeah, Articuno is strong, doing almost one-shot with Bizzarrd and Hurricane, so avoid those moves. Go for the icy wind and triple axel; ancient power is neutral, and use the switch method. (u can use max mushrooms as well)
170-190 candies and 40 XL candies to get 1 max move and they only give out 50 normal candies for free lol. I guess I’ll trade or wait for maybe 1-2 years more until I can get these birds. Nice run btw!
to get 1 max move to rank 3 yea. You can easily do it with lvl 35's without powering up the moves. If you've played max battles at all you'll have 3 solid counters by now and the candy for powering them up has been automatically generated by placing your mons at power spots. It's really not difficult if you just play max battles and use the particles
When you leave Pokemon at power stops they only get candies when people fight the battles, so when I leave my Pokemon at and I get no candies usually because so little people do them around here.
@@JRNimmo once again, you really don't need to be powering up the moves or need gmax unless you're trying to 4man gmax battles - and why would you try that if you're not even able to scrape together enough candy for +1 on a move? you only need level 35 and at most 1-2 mon with max spirit. the spot thing is a fair point but the fact remains you still get tons of candy by doing the dmax battles that take like 1 min each. without any event bonuses, you can easily get 8 candy + MINIMUM 1-2XL per battle for any 1* and 3*, plus potential RC and RCXL. So to level your dmax mon to 35 you need 128 candies. That's 16 battles where you also get around half the XL needed for the battled species. 4 battles/day mean you can get 1 dynamax lvl 35 mon every FOUR days - slightly more if you've never caught it in other contexts and are missing candy to evolve it (at absolute MOST 8 days). The speed is also 25% faster if you do the correct capping of particles each day (walk 2km, 4 spots, walk 2km). Max battles have been out for over 4 months... so you could've gotten a minimum of 15(!) mons evolved AND to level 35 by now assuming you only played max battles and never caught any wild spawns of those species. ontop of that, you would have an extra ~40 RC and a bunch of RCXL. niantic does a lot of wrong, but the particles and candy costs really arent an issue unless you're slacking at which point suit yourself. I've probably only collectes particles on 10-15% of the days I could have, and yet I have over 10 lvl 35 mons WITH several upgraded moves.
@@murr395 We all had Charizard normal and 2 Metagross. We are not rich or do 100 raids. We used the best we got and could not win. No hate, but it's terribly disappointing
Dynamax Articuno doesn't seem that hard to defeat, which is a good thing.
Note that they had 4 punches of attack boost for anyone trying to replicate this
We had 4 people lost 7 times. It's so frustrating. I will never get a GigaMax

The attack boost from prior raids helps alot... i wish my community is this active
this sucks. it's so terrible.
This is exactly what I expected. Not Gigantamax difficult, but not soloable
Congratulations on that duo!
Thanks!
Nice work! What level were all your Pokémon? Were they all at level 40?
Guys I duod it with just 2 punches. It is possible, you just have to wait for a good moveset. I did it with triple axel and icy wind.
Pretty good.😂 I'm Taiwanese people and waiting for it coming.
Amazing Duo🎉 congrats
Thanks! 🎉

lapras takes super-effective damage from ancient power, but otherwise it's superior to blastoise, bar dealing a little more damage I guess.
So glad it's duoable. Thanks so much for the video! Did you have to reset for specific moves on the Articuno, or is this pretty safe?
It was using Ancient Power, which is one of the moves that Blastoise doesn't resist, so it'd only get easier if you tried hunting for dual ice moves.

The requirements for powering up Max moves specifically on the candy and the xl candy side need to be lower it's super prohibitive

What level are your pokemon and lvl of the max moves????
level 50 and max level moves
Does Gmax tox do more damage than Dmax meta?
@ It does naturally. Dynamax level 3 attack is 350 base power while level 3 Gmax attacks are 450 base power.
What's the Max Particle requirement?
800
The otherguy also have lv50 and max lvlmax move?
two level 45 blastoise and level 50 toxtricity with max level moves
Even with 4 ppl, we couldn't win. Lost 7 times.
and what level were your counters? we were 4 with lvl 30 counters and this shit was a breeze

With assist it's douable I guess there are 4 pokemon placed at the spot
4 punches are at least 20 pokemon placed at spot
Why you don't use charge moves?
they build up dynamax power slower
