So much for changing a front cover, omg O.o I used my own set of screwdrivers (for glasses) and i re-used the screws though. From experience with alot of small electronic devices i see no problem with this as long as you are careful.
maybe the problem is in the ribbon cable ... i just got a phone like this one .. its my friends phone actually and i took it so i can fix it ... the problem is that when i turn it on half of the screen has only noise and the other half has horizontal lines ... and when i press the End Call button a few times the phone makes a white noise sound and turns of on its own .. so im guessing its the cable.
my lcd screen keeps playing up. it will not display image correctly. i buoght a new lcd screen off ebay and used this excellent video to replace it. however even know(and with the old screen) sometimes the screen works, other times it dosn't. i cleaned the ribbon connectors of dust using air can but still hit and miss. any other things to look out for? thanks guys
Why dont touch microphone? Ok, we have to discard earpiece, but how should I replace mic if I cant touch it even with tools? Also, dat voice synth! Kinda awesome for 2008, but why? TH too tough for finns?
When buying tape look carefully. My turned out to have "fake" front camera, front keys suck. Buy originals. Uwaga na taśmy, mogą nie mieć kamery. Klawisze na froncie tez nie chodzą za dobrze.
Cz they are too soft and their heads are too easy to fubar. Im restoring my old Nokla now and I have to drill one of the screws out. 15 years ago I went to Nokla service due to some earpiece problem and I guess some jerk there has not been compliant with this particular manual.
