Focused vs bright.. if you are going to convince me on this one, I think it's going to take a full video with examples (any video recommendations?). I tend to think of focused as fast attack and decay without a lot of overtones. Are you defining focused differently? Because (most) Taylors just seem very bright to me on top of many being focused; why can't they be both? I generally don't like them because they seem bright, high, and sometimes a bit metallic sounding. The Mahogany top tones that down nicely. Thanks for the review!
When did this change or when will this change happen? Is the model in this video a prototype or pre-release model? I just bought a 324e (non-cutaway) and it has Tasmanian Blackwood backs and sides. Mine was manufactured in March 2022. Taylor's website still describes the 324ce as having Tasmanian Blackwood.
Love how they use the burst on the hog to give it the cooler look than just being standard hog brown. I'm dying to get an OM hog style...this should fit the bill....now for hte money part
Mahogany just has that sound

Hi. Which one do you recommend. 224ce or 324ce. Thank you.

lol I’m going to refer to mahogany as hog from now on
Actually has a nice look and sound. I don't care for a cutaway but this is nice
Hey Joe, how would you compare this great guitar to the Taylor 326ce? I love them both. Thanks for the informative vids.
I think you've sold me. I'm also sitting here trying to figure out what that 1st song / chords are you're playing. Sounds great!
Does anyone know if the “blacktop” version is still all mahogany? I guess I don’t know what the black top is made of.
Some finger style examples would be appreciated
Picking mine up Thursday. Trading a piano for it.👀
Back looks like Sapele with all the striping.
No more Urban Ash?
Urban ash is used on the 324ce Builder's Edition and I have not heard anything saying that's changing.
Are the 322 models moving to all-mahogany as well?
Nice! All hog all day long baby!
