Hlo mam which diploma or degree is best for commerce students for government job
Any diploma/degree will do, infact most basic jobs doesn’t even need diploma/degree but since we are foreigners so our education is our plus point and i will help us to grow or get promoted as well, for commerce, you need to either do accounting or finance related diplomas, specially finance (but as I said in video you should have a proper knowledge of MS office for sure)

Is it okay to give 2 references? Most of the jobs are asking for 3 references from supervisor/managers of previous jobs. They asked not to give references of colleagues or friends.
Some people don't have 3 supervisors. Kindly help
Usually I gave and asked for 3 references but not for this job, here they only asked for 2. But when they ask 3 references they don’t have to be all supervisors, they can be your prof, seniors, store manager/ dept manager/ assistant manager and sometimes co-worker.

I work as Admin and I was not in pool, but good point, I forgot to mention that eligible candidates are kept in pool for future job vacancies.

I am also living in Vancouver. Now i am a student, doing master in NYIT in energy management program. And i m doing part time job in landscape service, can i get govt job i don't have any customer service experience. I dont think i will get job in costco, wall mart and other mall. I had visited every place in Vancouver, Langley, Coquitlam, Burnaby etc but everywhere Punjabi 😂😂. Even my 14 wallmart application was rejected where i made resume by using AI. 😂 so can i get govt job after study like as an electrical engineer
If you think you can’t have experience in customer service start applying office jobs, your office work environment job along with your degree can get you a very lucrative job in government departments

Yes I can be wrong but I have not seen any post yet that can say work permit holders can apply and when it says so in brackets they mention must be on permanent residence status or citizen of canada, If you have come across any post that say work permit immigrants, plz do share

Exactly! Its just like most of the posts says preference will be given to PR or citizen. BUT work permit holders do get govt. job as well.
I got an offer as well. I'm on PGWP and starting work next week. It's a teer 1 job. I didn't know they hire wp holders until one of my friends got it and she told me to apply and try. It's a pretty high level Accounting job.

Check the requirements in job posting and if you meet them then do apply, govt needs employees in huge numbers.

you need to be here on PR status,some people say that you can get govt job on work permit status but I have not seen any @@satyamsingh9307
@@jasskaurbrar1 I have seen many. I am an example myself. I'm still on PGWP. Got offer, teer 1, starting next week. My friend started same job when she was on PGWP, got her PR using that govt experience haha.

Vire I think its hard to get job in big cities nowadays, but you can try areas around and don’t lose hope on Vancouver either its big and beautiful city. I visited Vancouver few days ago and saw posting that BCferries are hiring so try there too. Check their website.
