It is not about performing badly per se. It is that the KSU game was an important game and neither Shiloh nor the coaches figured he was having a bad night and needed to be pulled from the game. You don't keep any player in the game consistently performing badly and then say oh well Shiloh performed horribly. Do something about it during the game. .
I maintain the fact he messed with the chemistry they had the 3 weeks prior when he was out.. That said, it is what it is, it’s on to Arizona at this point, all we can do is root for him to improve at this point.

I’m pretty old now but it is super important for injured players to be kept in the fold.. I was never really severely injured playing football but got hurt severely twice in the US Army. The rehab is tough but the mental part is even harder. Thank God for my family and friends and my Army teammates for keeping me focused on the future..not what happened. I hope CU does the same. He’s got a team and school to focus on so a big help. I expect this program to take care of their people..physically and mentally ❤️
If they run the ball a bunch, you can give the WRs a break. If you plan on throwing 40+ times again, that’s bad coaching, you’re sacrificing your guys. They’re already banged up
So what do you recommend if the opposing team shuts down our run game? Point is the only choice could be passing the ball usually because the clocks against us or they shut down the run. Don’t forget the pass has won us a lot of games. I understand what you’re saying though, we need to be able to run or pass whenever we want and make opposing team “fear” us.

Handing the ball off with 0 lead blockers is not trying to establish the run. The OC has to buckle up and bring in extra blockers similar to how they did vs UCF. He gives a better breakdown on this problem. If you don’t take it from me, take it from a CU Alum and former pro.
We haven't turned on Shilo. We love Shilo. We simply feel that he should not have been thrusted back into the starting lineup his first game back. Just like Travis shouldn't have been covering the main guy when he came back from injury last year.
He was dedicated to Colorado that alone deserved a scholarship. Others just hit the portal. All the time and conditioning and scholarship dollars spent on someone there for one season. Politte would have stayed and probably Mikey Harriosn too with a scholarship

Getting hit by 200-300 pounds running at you full speed will do it too! The way the opposing player decides to tackle also has a lot to do with it. Tackles like hip-block tackles for example puts the opponents weight on the legs of the player being tackled. Hip Block tackles have been banned in the NFL because it causes serious ankle injury. It should be banned in CFB as weLl. If I remember correctly Jimmy was tackled using a hip block tackle when he left the game.
Welcome to football, where if you play 130 snaps a game you're going to sustain an injury at some point. Keep in mind, opposing teams want to take out Travis and SS2.
