    Hello everybody. I hope you all had a great week. Today I will be doing comb coils on my sister using design essentials curl stretching cream. This is one of my favorite go to products for comb coils. I love the results and how much moisture it puts into the hair. Please try it out. I will be sure to leave a link in the description box. You will find this product, comb used, and spray bottle in my amazon store. Feel free to check that out as well. I hope you all enjoy the video. Please don’t forget to subscribe and and give the video a thumbs up. Thanks for watching and enjoy.

    Great job 👍 you make it look so easy, I tried comb coils once and the comb got tangled up in my hair 😂, I now only do finger coils 😂😂.

      @MAculateLife  3 роки тому +1

      Yes that can happen especially if you have long hair. But finger coils are cute as well.

      Cheby Hocutt u can use it on two strand twists, flat twists and braid outs. Sometimes I take a dab and put it all over the hair before I do boxed braids just to add moisture to the hair

    I wanna try this with my hair. I have 4C hair. I usually ya AsIAm product but I’m up to trying something new. Especially if it doesn’t look flakey 😍 how long can you keep this in before it starts to lock? Or will it not lock? This is beautiful ❤️

      Lovezemorelee Zhaliah Thompson my sister wears it twisted for 3 weeks and then she untwist them and wear it another 3 weeks. The older it gets the better it looks.😁

    I'm going to try this tonight with the DE foam. This looks great! Not sure that I'll be able do the oval parts on myself.

      Doing the oval partings can be hard to do on yourself but if you keep trying it will get easier overtime. Thank you for watching.😊

    How does your sister keep the style for so long? When she washes her hair doesn't the coils come out? How does she clean her scalp if she doesn't wash her hair for the 6-8 weeks?

    • @MAculateLife
      @MAculateLife  Рік тому +1

      She keeps the twists for in for two weeks. And then takes the twists out the third week. She takes great care of her scalp by oiling it. When she get to me there is no build up or anything. Believe me I questioned it myself too😂 Great question.

    I was thinking about getting locs soon and I have 4c/4b hair so I was wondering should I start with two strand twist or comb coils??

    • @MAculateLife
      @MAculateLife  Рік тому +1

      Either one would be fine but I would say the comb coils will most likely give you the results your are looking for.

    How does the keep it while she sleeps?

    • @MAculateLife
      @MAculateLife  2 роки тому +2

      She wears a silk bonnet. When she wakes up in the am, she shakes it out and fluff and then she puts some oil on it. This style can last up to 6 weeks with the proper maintenance.

    Is this the same method for locs?

    • @MAculateLife
      @MAculateLife  3 роки тому +1

      Yes. This is usually how locs are started.
