Hiking in Tuscany - high trail from Sant'Andrea to Punta della Zanca on Elba (2022, 4k)

The circular hike starts in Sant'Andrea and goes up to the high path 150 to Zanca in the west of Elba. In between, a descent to the Punto Panoramico on the sea shore to inhale the seclusion on the cliffs. Then back up the high trail and on Route 116 to the outskirts of Zanca. From there on to Punta della Zanca to the rock guardians on the cliffs to enjoy the wonderful panorama of the coast to the east and west. The way back on the high trail ends in the rocky landscape above Sant'Andrea and leads down to the bathing resort. Distance approx. 5 km, duration approx. 2 hours and +/-230 meters in altitude.
