That's one thing Abbasid players need to constantly be aware of, only two landmarks which will 99% of the time be right next to eachother
True but at the same time house of wisdom has 20k HP + its a single location you have to defend instead of multiple so its easier to focus on it
Edit: I think it was bugged in the Technical stress test and start with 20k hp, seems like newer videos of the abbasids showcase the building only having 2k hp when it is built and gradually getting higher as you age up
Indeed, and the flip-side is that it's also one of the things that people overlook about the Chinese. With so many landmarks, you can throw them in anywhere. Aggressive use of the offensive one? Go for it! a couple of extras stashed away in a corner for a rainy day? Why not?
Damn interest around AOE4 seems to be growing like crazy, and with videos like this I'm sure this channel will grow with the same speed ^^

It's so cool that you now get your resources back if you cancel a building project. Plus, the mass-build of grouped farmers is such a neat time-saver.

I’m absolutely loving this game. Still doing the campaigns, and they’re really challenging. The AI is way more intelligent than previous ones, and the graphics are beautiful.

Yeah so I constantly ended up making tons of mining camps instead of lumber mills at the start of the stress test. They swapped the hotkey and button position for those buildings compared to AoE2. My muscle memory kept letting me down. You're not alone there, buddy. :)

Drongo.. pleas i implore you to urge every single content creator to voice their concerns regarding the DYNASTY box in the middle of the screen, it makes much more sens to move it to the top right next to that shield icon, having it in the middle will lsoe you games i can already see the misclick, i dont care if the devs are grumpy with their vision, atleast give people the option to move it around if thats the case.
I was thinking the same thing. That dynasty box being right in the middle is pretty bad, but maybe it was the only way they thought to nerf China?

30:40 The chinese get the chemistry upgrade for free when they reach imperial age, so that's why you couldnt find the gunpowder upgrade in the university.
I love how he was saying meme and that purple was surprised they won. If AD had gone back to support the defense when Purple was first being attacked, he would have eliminated both armies before they could group to hit him.
It was simple tactics. The because AD was left untouched and everyone was targeting Purple and Yellow he was able to place focus on siege. Siege good at killing units infantry, cav., and other siege. Once the bombards were out it was more or less game over.
The choice was can my allies hold while I kill or help the allies and use them to screen enemy so that the enemy cannot counter my strat. He went for the attack which, in most cases if the better of the choices as it was shown here.
I think any tension was because they were in, "the moment" and thus adrenaline was running high.
All of that being said, what sealed the attack being a good choice was that conversion.

I do think that siege are a bit too much currently. You can rush the landmarks wayyyy too easy in general, but if you even manage to roll 2-4 bombards in you can just end the game.
All you need to bring down siege, is preparing the proper counter.

Ok, so now the important question. How to counter this? I imagine that the only real counter would be to field your own artillery army because a conventional one would just get ripped apart by the bees. Even then, with the tech upgrades the Chinese get the range boost so you would always be engaging with a penalty. If it devolves to ‘you must be Chinese to beat Chinese’ then there is a big problem with the balance of the game.
Mass knights would annihilate this lol. If you want add culverins along with it to make trades even better.

balista seems very good here never liked them in aoe2, too much hard counter and they don't do much damage also they miss most of the time

It's set in the Middle Ages. USA not yet on the map. DLC or something more modern (1800s) might be interesting with an American campaign included. Lots of empires in the 19th century.

What? siege going through the building? There is a gap around every building in aoe4 to stop players from quick walling enemy units. Now any unit can squeeze through closely placed buildings.

once again proving the dynasty civ's 2 landmarks only design in late game, is straight garbage town. Get eliminated before your army even comes back home.

They poured all their forces in the enemy bases thinking they could defeat drongo's team first, and ended up losing when their completely undefended bases had their landmarks razed to the ground by a mega artillery force which they chose not to respond to with their armies even after seeing it appear.
Nah it means that the player needs to be more aware of his defences when playing offence. He chose to leave it open and got punished
All good points lads, dum dums not coming back to defend or have walls is bad for sure.
I think the worst thing was them looking at the super amounts of arty and going "Yeah we can win this base race vs that" LOL
siege on this game sucks, poor animations and no crew on them, man what a lost opportunity!
This and the Streltsy-Force are by far my favorite solo builds, never change Drongo, never change.
