My mouth was watering when you stuck the knife in and the crisp sound of the skin could be heard!
Reminded me of the 70's when my mum made them for me - she left them in a low oven for like 4 hours!

Baked Beans. They are very easy! You can remove from the tin and either microwave them for a minute or 2 or cook them in a sauce pan until they are warm and bubbling on a low heat.
The other alternative is you can make baked beans yourself, it just takes longer!
    Thanks for the comms :)

I love jacket potatoes, especially when they are crispy on the outside. Yum!.
I guess cooking potatoes in the microwave is better than nothing, but oven bake is the best!
There is a compromise where you can partially microwave to cook the inside, then put in the oven to make the skin crispier.
I am intending on making some more variations on jacket potatoes soon.
Thanks again for the comms and happy cooking.

The quickest way is using the microwave. It will not go crispy on the outside but will be cooked in the middle. Depending on the size of the potato and power of the microwave it should take approx 5 to 7 minutes for 1 potato. Cook until the potato is soft in the middle.
    Hope that helps OriginalNakedChef
