I wouldnt say locked up but she should have her license taken away and given probation which includes a program if she feels she has a problem. Not jail....especially if no one was hurt but her
I live in MD and I have a DUI when you refuse a breatherlizer (as I did) Later you have the option to have a suspended license for 12 months or a breatherlizer in your car for 12 months I chose the breathalizer because I had to get to work. The worst 12 months of my life!!
Miranda Rights are only applicable if you are under "arrest". The officer told Karen she was being "detained" not "arrested". There is a difference. Detainment does not warrant Miranda Rights. The police can ask questions such as "where were you going?", "where are you coming from?". Neither of these questions are incriminating. The person being detained has to consent to a breath and blood test. If they do not their driver's license is immediately suspended for 1 to 2 years depending on your state and the number of your other DUI offenses permanently revoked.

I was watching The Brooke Ashley and I kept yelling "NINE CITATIONS!!!!!" when she was talking about the incident.I don't believe Karen tho,because of her arrogant behaviors and the gaslighting within the group about the incident.
You can refuse a breathalyzer but you can lose your license for 2 years if it’s a second offense in MD
Yep and you can refuse it but still be arrested if officers believe you are under the influence.
