I love a good ebike adventure, just opens up so many new possibilities. Also another great use of the drone - just adds so much to the videos without seeming to intrude on your ride experience. Great job Andrew 👍
Thanks Andrew ..."That's how you slab it " , and "absolutely spectacular " WOW dude ! Stunning , landscape and amazing riding ...yeah , I'd ride that on every climb , but I am OAF ! I was in the Alps a while ago , and watched em flying up and down all damn day . Thanks again , yeah , another wow ! Truly
Genuinely incredible scenery! The drone really helps to pick up the scale. Awesome vid mate - and you're right, without ebikes this ascent wouldn't be easily conquerable by the average MTBer!
Awasome run. After spending 2 years on Highlander and then 2 months on Transition 4bar it's very noticable how HP carries speed through the rough and stays composed with almost no pedal kickback. That's where it belongs. The Highlands ;-)
I find the same in that my E160 doesn't seem to carry as much speed downhill as my 'conventional' Giant which can feel a bit frustrating. For me, at my age, the benefits of the help I get on the up hills outways my frustration on the downhills... Another epic vid mate. Cheers.
Hearing you talk 750wah battery makes me want to get a larger battery (or new ebike with bigger battery good excuse 😂) climbing Annat across rock slabs and Torridon looked amazing especially with DJI Air 3 (another dream purchase) always enjoy watching thanks for sharing Andy! 😁🤙
another top video and riding Andrew - looked like a great loop for the ebike with a few cheeky manuals on the way up - nice location to enjoy a day on the bike :)
Yes butt. That looks like a good ride. So ruff your eyeballs can't keep up from the shaking. 1 day I will come to Scotland n ride. Its been to long since bike park wales. Keep up the good work fella.
It’s tough out there. I recognise some thing of this vid from a ride I did, a loop from Annat out to a westward descent towards Loch Coire Fionnaraich, between Maol Chean-Dearg and An Ruadh-Stac. Brutal. The kind of descent where walkers look at you like you’re mental.
Great Andrew, did the Loop couple years ago from Annat on emtb, real struggle to push/lift out of Coire Grannda but worth it, well in hindsight at least 😊
Literally just watching this after asking myself the same question about my E XE should I sell it and definitely NOT after riding it .. Great material on your channel, Scotland keeps giving 😊😊❤
Brilliant video as usual. How do you carry your DJI controller such that you don't get unwanted presses of the controls when you're bouncing around on such difficult terrain?
It’s awkward, but I use the mesh internal pocket in the main compartment of my backpack. It’s almost the perfect size, but I need to be really careful when taking the controller in and out.
Great video and usual. I was wondering what safety tech do you have, especially going up there on your own in the evening? No phone coverage up there, fella! What extra clothing do you have in your bag in case you bin it big time - break a leg, 3or4 ribs etc? Prepare for the worst, hope for the best. Still fail to understand why you do not wear gloves. Try getting back down the hill with hands ripped to shreds after a bad fall. Thanks for your great videos. Be good to hear what you consider taking with you depending on what ride you do. Cheers.
Great run going to the Loch and back one of my favourites for sure, unlike your full fat & youth, my Levo SL with an slightly 😬 overweight 56 year old needs to push at a few bits going up😂 As always great footage ❤️🏴
Hello, Andy How much usable daylight are you getting up there? Do you think you’d be more in control with a pair of beach cruiser type handlebars? Nice vid👍👍👍👍
Daylight is nearly at 5am to 10pm atm. I don’t think I would be in more control with higher bars, I’m already running these bars higher than I even have and I’m not sure if it’s any better for me.
I’m not affiliated with them at all actually. I haven’t ridden the Dune or used that motor other than in a car park. It does look like a great bike though, and I’m sure it could do most of this route.
Definite contender for best mtb UA-cam footage in my opinion. Great stuff pal
👍🏻
Legend!😊
100% agree, this is the dream. This is the type of mtb I love. And def best mtb footage. Well done mctrail rider.
This is proper mountain biking!… out in the wilderness, beautiful scenery. No bike parks no tourists. I love it
Couldn't agree more!
You know you’re a true celebrity when you still get recognised in one of the remotest parts of the UK. Great vid 👌🏽

E-bike make a lot of sense in the big mountains of Europe for sure 👍
Was an awesome evening for a run down there, couldn’t of got better weather that week. Good to chat to you too. Great vid . 👍 @mctrailrider.
Very good to meet you guys too. I enjoyed our chats 👍

Yes to both you statements 👍

Good to hear 👍 This was where I really noticed it properly tbh. The Highlander really is an exceptional bike 👌
Even better with a slightly slacker front (170 or angleset)
Amazing footage with lovely lighting. Very well captured. Makes me want to get another bike. Thanks for sharing
You should!

Excellent drone footage andrew!
Pretty epic trail too!
Severe arm pump on that one 🤙
Arm pump is for the weak 😜

Fantastic place, the ebike opens up the ups and downs.
It really does 👍

Glad you enjoyed it👍
Scottish mountains are just superb, me & my riding buddies, definitely during summer will be doing a few of those rides on our eebs aswel 😎👍🏾
Please do!

Looks like an amazing ride and those views are absolutely stunning ⛰️⛰️
A truly stunning place 😍

That’s one I plan on doing in the future👍
Great vid Andy, spectacular location!
Thanks 👍
Fantastic Andrew, the editing is superb. Looks so pro 👊🏻.
Glad you think so 👍
Your footage is up there with Brian's, as the best on YT.
What a playground!! Another engaging Vid, cheers Andy 👍
Thank you 😊
Such a stunning place to ride bikes 😎
The best!
Great Andrew, did the Loop couple years ago from Annat on emtb, real struggle to push/lift out of Coire Grannda but worth it, well in hindsight at least 😊
Type 2 fun, even with the e-bike when it come to the big loops in Torridon.
Agreed 👍 been the best weather out west too

I think we all get that kind of thought process at times. They’re so good though.

Awesome video Andrew. 🔥
Cheers Jason, I appreciate it!
Looked a belta bro. But all your vids are fantastic mate 🎉👏🍾
Glad you like them!😊
😊 how do you freeze the buttons on your drone when active track?????
I put the controller in a mesh pocket, sideways very carefully. It’s not perfect, but it works most of the time.
@@McTrailRiderwould be nice if you could find someone to 3d print a case 🤔🤔🤔 I will only ask for a small % when U get patented ,😂😂👍👌👌

I would probably need to push on an sl too, if that makes you feel better.
Another first class video!
Cheers buddy 👍

@@McTrailRider Thanks😊
What if the bars were more swept back, say 45 degrees.
Would that help you to absorb impacts?
Not sure how you are affiliated with Mondraker but how do you reckon the new Mondraker Dune (sl))would fare on such an expedition? 👌🏻
I’m not affiliated with them at all actually. I haven’t ridden the Dune or used that motor other than in a car park.

you can mullet the mondraker if you got 650b wheel give a go it drop stand over and bb.give tour plus a go
I think I’m a full 29’er kind of person tbh 🤔
I use tour+ a lot normally, but felt turbo was required in some of these sections.
Beautiful Scotland
Correct 😍
One thing is certain and no matter how much you try to convince yourself; you are not cycling on a mobility bike.
Most certainly not 👍
Excellent location and riding, such a beautiful place to ride ✌️❤️ to the World
Thanks ✌️
Noice! Dronage par excellance! (And riding).
Right on!
