Hey JB, just wanted to say thanks again for the Amazon gift card! I got a k&n cold air intake for my 6.4. I know there little controversial on whether or not they work. But I can honestly say it makes a big difference in my throttle response and a slight boost in power towing. I wouldn't be surprised if it's shaved a half second or more off of my 0-60. And on top of that my fuel economy has increased about 1.8 mpgs on average
No problem! There are definitely some benefits to air intakes but I think the best results come from getting a tune to run it which should give you the most performance from it. I did a drop in K&N filter in a previous car and got about 1 mpg respectively.
Sweet looking night edition Ram 1500. The Big Horn is a nice truck. I'm not into the leather interior. I like cloth mostly because it doesn't get super hot in the summer. Great review JB, thanks for sharing.
I have both 2019 Limited Ram’s - 1500 and 3500. Just recently I took one of my trailers and would normally hook to my 3500, however, the 1500 is SO much nicer to drive, like you mentioned, I took the 1500 and am amazed every time how well the 1500 tows and the comfort (seats). And with true air suspension it never squats and is automatic to keep the truck level. Once I arrive at my camp spot I drive around to go places and it is so much nicer in the 1500. The new Ram 1500 really sets the bar for 1/2 ton pickups. I’m hard to please and I drive the 1500 even when I should take my 3500!!! That’s how good it is.
Big money! Yea I am looking forward to driving a 1500 with air suspension preferably with the new tailgate. Someone in my neighborhood hauls a cherry picker with his limited ram 1500 and it never squats. He used to tow it with a GMC that would squat considerably. Thanks for watching!
I'm not a chrome guy that's why I wanted my next truck to be all one solid color. I was looking at the new Rebel but I settled with the bright white North Edition. Seeing the grill, hood badge, and exhaust tips I think I will try to get them changed from chrome to blacked out
does ram have the automatic brake assist or the ability to stop before you rear end someone or back into someone ? i see this feature on 2020 tundras and many cars. if you are paying 55k plus you would think they would have the latest safety features. self driving dump trucks are around the corner....mac truck is investing 1 billion into it.
Im surprised the ram website doesn't let you configure a 2020 ram 1500 at this point, yet they are already hitting dealerships. I want to see if this package is available on the Laramie package as well as what colors you can get the night edition in.
Hey JB, I know your doing light duty trucks now to. But if you can. Check out the fuel economy on the new Silverado hd diesel and there new gas motor. No one has done it yet
That is a nice truck. I like the one with the white grill. Nice response from that 5.7 too. Does it seem to shift more with the 8 speed? How is the shifting, smooth or more noticeable?
It’s good they have so many flavors you can buy this truck in whether it be chrome, color match, or black! The 8 speed is really smooth and I find that because it is so smooth, you don’t notice the transmission searching for gears. I do know at speeds below 60 mph it doesn’t shift all the way into 8th.
The taillights kill this truck in my opinion. Why aren’t they using the new taillights? Is it because like you said it doesn’t have the led lighting option?
That is correct. That would probably be the only option I would add on this truck! I’m hoping to find a night edition with the LED lighting PKG because I prefer that style too. Thanks for watching!

Isidro Battle wrapping the grill may be better than buying the entire grill assembly but you may have to buy the emblems. Hope this helps!
