About the dogs and "cats"....
My mother-in-law on special occasions would serve "Welsh Rabbit". And if my father-in-law did not have any rabbits frozen from hunting small game (oh no 😮) she bought rabbit from the butcher. One day I asked her why the rear foot was always left on the cleaned ready to cook rabbit. Her response was, because a cat and a rabbit have the same body structure except the legs. So, the rear foot was left in tact so unscrupulous vendors/ butchers could not substitute cat wild or domesticated for Rabbit.
Nothing is new, it's just how the story is told.

If you mean by him deflecting, dog whistling, dancing around answers and blaming his own constituents without ever actually answering a question "mopping the floor" with Margaret, then sure. But he didn't actually say anything, and most of what he said is verifiably false. Use your head.

Every time JD Vance is interviewed - we see MB doing checks and balances and de-escalation ...but no actual firm push-back. The crises would be welcome since he has admitted the party creating these stories (see MSNBC) that are disrupting and endangering lives.
