Hauling Massive Wooden Frames, The Challenge New Mower and Tedder | Pallegney Farm | FS 22 | ep #24

Welcome back to the Pallegney Farm Timelapse. First, we needed to find the right equipment to transport the wooden frames from our sawmill. The cargo was quite large, so we chose a platform with a width adjustment function. Unfortunately, our current truck wasn't compatible with this type of trailer, so we purchased a new one. With the new truck, we headed to the sawmill, loaded the finished products onto the platform, and delivered them to the point of sale.
The next stage was mulching, starting with the new field. The area where we had cut down the trees could be integrated into the existing field. So, we treated the entire area with mulch and ground the stumps to remove them. Then, using a cultivator, we created a new field by combining all the plots. With the main work done, we moved on to the next task: hay harvesting. For the first stage, we bought a new mower and tedder and drove two tractors to the grass fields. Using equipment that wasn't too wide, we successfully mowed and spread the grass for drying, even in tight areas.
