Good morning Ligonier, I do not know if UA-cam still permits users to add other translations for subtitles in videos, but it is possible, could you enable that option of "Add or Submit Translation for subtitles", please? (So some friends of mine willbe able to understand it in Spanish)
Agreed, I’ve been taking notes and if you have the dvd and book that comes with it, it’s all there so you can learn these important reformation truths.
First time I've heard Michael Reeves teach & have to say Thank You, I've been truly blessed & wonderfully providential timing for me as I spent some time today sharing w a 28yr old woman ( raised a Jehovahs witness, but not following) about being in Christ. Very encouraged! Bless u all from Toowoomba Australia
Beautiful message. I so would like the ability to mimic Michael Reeves' tones, softness, timing and vocal inflections. He could be explaining a game for children and make it sound eloquently profound and interesting.
I had Reformation Truths for Christmas and my husband and I have been watching the series and are grateful to Dr Reeves for his clear teaching. The analogy of the king who marries the poor girl of ill repute and there’s that wonderful exchange perfectly describes our relationship with the Lord. He takes all our sins, his crown of thorns and lavishes on us all his riches. What does the girl really want? Not those things at all, but the bridegroom, the king himself and so it is with us! The one thing which which disconcerted me was discovering that renowned Christians believe in purgatory, chiefly C.S. Lewis which came as shock. Jesus did all the “purging”necessary. No second chances, no contribution from us in any shape or form.

How do we reconcile the hundreds of denominations? The Catholics I talk to I often get the comment that as a result of Luther breaking away, the Bible went in a million different directions and now there is every man for himself interpreting Scripture. Anyone who has a rebuttal to this let me know because it's a frequent line Catholics give me.
Yes, that is a frequent apologetic line of the Roman Catholic Church. I recommend CARM ( Christian Apologetic and Research Ministry). carm.org/roman-catholicism/which-of-all-the-protestants-is-the-correct-church/
Well, if you belong to a Reformed Christian Church (Presbyterian, Baptist or Dutch Reformed) and you consult their Faith Confessions is easier to see that Christianity is more equal and similar. That point Catholics say it is true about Pentecostalism, Wesleyan-Methodist Churches (or even worse like Jehovah's Witnesses or Mormons)... each of them has different views, practices and interpretations. However Catholics state Traditions has the same authority than Scriptures (and that's why they accept Maries, Saints, Popes, and so on). I think a good answer is Reformed Churches seek to return to old days of Primitive Christianity and achieve a more pure worship, gospel and understanding of the Bible Moreover Primitive Church, Reformers and current Reformed Churches has several similarities, and only those environments exists more concordy in almost everything
@@carmensiekierke3579 No, they're not Christians... however Catholics think Reformed Churches, Evangelical Churches and those cults are in the same boat under the flag of "Protestantism" which it's no accurate.
There is a reason why it is written in law that there is no presumption in law it’s because law is generally given by god and when it’s good it’s from god and it’s just but when it’s presumed it’s doomed in a lie.

Dr. Reeves reminds me of the Caroline Divine Jeremy Taylor, my 12th great grandfather. 👍 🙂
Excellent explanation. Thank you.

I don’t think the comments here are monitored. I would try contacting Ligonier customer service.
We have the dvd and apparently you can get in Spanish, hope that helps.

Romans 8:28 would suggest that God does love us. Of course God can't love us apart from Christ, because God is one.
