I will say that Jotunn has a mind of its own. It is partially skill, but it mostly depends on whether the weapon likes you or not.

its always the enemies that got the infinite RNG with the jotunn. if i (or in this case you) use it, the projectile doesnt even attempt to track, then the enemies jotunn tracking me behind walls and just the aoe damage is enough to kill me somehow.

I've recently started playing trials for the first time and went flawless last week. This map makes me want to jump off a cliff because there's no room for error if you're solo and your teammates are braindead. I'm ngl I was praying on your downfall so I could see somebody experience the sorrow I have this week.
Best thing to do is find a nice player who is top 5% or so and is willing to teach you “trials-style” map and game awareness. You’ll still get bad third teammates but it helps having a guide

You need to ADS to make the jotunn track better
What pisses me off about the shoulder charge nerf is that they’re nerfing it as a movement ability but not fixing it’s tracking and hit registration as a damage ability.
I noticed recently the tracking is asssss and less range. I stopped using it entirely it’s pointless atm I just main hunter anyway now

I don't mind the shoulder charge nerf tbh, isn't basically making it so the charge will have about a 4-5 second cooldown after use just like icarus dash? titans were just getting to the choke points on maps considerably earlier than the other classes so it really helps in that regard.
Arc and void titans have busted kits, there's a reason you see mostly those in trials, and videos like this dude's
Shoulder charge really doesnt make much difference at all in speed out of spawn. It's certainly not a "Considerable" difference.
I think it entirely depends on what you define as considerable, in something like trials, reaching a sniper lane so much as a second before your opponent is considerable as it gives you time to scope in and hold it before the opponent has even had a chance to, and holding the angle gives you such an advantage in winning the duel. In 6v6? Yeah it doesn't matter and the nerf doesn't feel needed for that.

I finally got my first flawless today. Your videos really help me to learn how to play better.
During the 600rpm meta I played floaty warlock with Jotunn and the OG Duty Bound. Yelling “AC130 INBOUND” into the mic definitely helped. Lot of laughs with the boys during those days

Managed to get solo flawless this weekend but damn I had some fandoms that didn’t even know how to jump. I think some people just go into the playlist for hours on end hoping for a carry out of chance to the lighthouse
Love that you do these playing solo. Other streamers do similar stuff but play with a 3 stack and it’s not nearly as fun to watch

I agree Jotuun shouldn't be in comp or trials. It is annoying, but there is one adjustment I'd love to see on it: more damage to the user. There is nothing for me more frustrating then being in melee range, even getting killed by a jotuun mid melee, to see the jotuun user walk away while I die.
its takes skill to use it, if you are being killed up close, you need to check who you are pushing, you just see a pro player not even landing those shots, if someone stand still for a sec, then they are dead, it play like a hand cannon, moving in and out off cover to land the shot, except its a 1 tap not a 3. i use mine with 120 hand cannon or pulse, pending on map, i have other fusions but this owns in the right hands. good time not long time.
@@eustraydc5902every weapon takes skill doesn’t mean it’s good for the game and having any amount of skill with this weapon on certain maps influences capturing zone matches way to heavily
@@eustraydc5902 sure you have to be careful who you push, but when using a weapon that is as easy to use as Jotuun or any Explosive weapon at that, shouldn't you have to be a little careful how you use it? As a comparison, why not make rocket launchers or grenade launchers do little to damage to the user?
@@curtisnielsen1399 i agree its easy to use for big reward , they should add damage to user if too close tbh, needs a nerf. but you have to spec it for best results, i think frost never built for it tbh and if he did ,then two games and he would be smashing with it, 3 target mods and i think i got reload perk, it my go to set up when im out skilled lol but buzzard and last perdition is my best load out. my pulse has zen and rf and 22 zoom scope can lower it to 17 for right map as well. but the 22 zoom is op and its a lazer.
I have yet to watch the actual video but based on the title, this is my whole hearted sentiment on certain guns in trials or comp over all.

For some inexplicable reason, I felt like using Jotunn this weekend with Rain of Fire and the harmony Something New. I had used Jotunn like once before, never used Something New. Jotunn was alright, it was amusing, but god damn Something New feels absolutely awful lmao.

I dont know if im the only one but since the update of the matchmaking like frostbolt when i solo q i need to hard carry my teamates or i lose or theres some games that is just the easiest games ever never in between but most of the time i just have a bad team since the update frost cant get the randim flawless and when you compare with other ones you see the difference of the matchmaking
